I hope 'he' doesn't distract as you read this. It is supposed to be 'laughing'; and also 'he' is an onion. Since, laughing is what this is about, and onions are good for health, I decided it would be ok.
Proverbs 17:22---A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
James 5:13---Is any among you afflicted? het him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalmsv14---Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, v15---and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Job 8:20, 21----Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers;
Till he fill thy mouth with LAUGHING, and thy lips with rejoicing.
Zech.2:10--Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
So, here we have some Scripture to lift the spirit. Our health and spiritual life do better when we can be in good spirit.
I know some people scoff at us Pentecostols for Laughing in the Spirit. But, It is a most joyful thing when God fills our mouth with laughter.
I heard somewhere that laughing is actually good exercise for the whole body because of the way it causes the insides to all 'masage' each other.
Anyway, I know by experience that a good laugh (not at dirty jokes, this is not good laughing)--- makes one feel much better; no matter what the circumstance.
Wishing you all a good, happy day; filled with happiness and laughter. The joy of the Lord is our strenght. Lord, ever more give us that Joy.
