~SEEK, AND YE SHALL FIND ~

I have become aware that too many people really do not know how to find a REAL, ALIVE, RELATIONSHIP with God. They are just going on ‘words?spoken by someone. God is NOT really real in their life. This is a shameful thing. It is the result of hirelings who care not for the sheep, who have changed the truth of God into a lie and taken away the KEY of knowledge.

I will attempt to show in this message the way to find a live, true life of faith and the personal glory of God in your life.

I know from having grown up in a Baptist Church that these kind of churches teach against ‘seeking?God. I was taught that we did not have to seek God; only accept Jesus and that was it. Friends, you must learn to study the Word of God **[the KJV]** and go exactly by ALL of it; not just some of it. You must learn to rightly DIVIDE the Word; by letting the Spirit of God teach you.

You must learn to compare Scripture with Scripture for the true interpretation of the Word. No Scripture can be rightly interpreted alone; it must have another Scripture, which explains it. No one can add their own thoughts to the word; for to do so is to change it so that it is no longer God’s Word; but theirs.

I will probably do a series of messages on this subject. I will show you the way to find the glory of God for your life EVERYDAY; not just once in while. I will show you the right way to hold worship services; the way which brings God’s Holy presence and blessings each and every time.

We know that Jesus himself said, Seek and ye shall find. Then why do most ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing?tell you there is no need to SEEK for God? I tell you why: it is because they are not God’s true ministers; they are the ministers of Satan transforming themselves into ministers of light. But their ‘light?is really darkness.

Remember, that everything you believe and teach absolutely must be written in the Word of God just the way you say it, for it to be truth. If it is not in the Word, it is NOT true. God said let His word be true and every man’s a lie. So if someone tells you things which are contrary to the Written Word, it is a LIE. If it crosses the written Word, it is a LIE. It is very easy to prove what is truth and what is a LIE.

You need to learn that the written Word is Jesus?and God’s Word; not some man’s. Even when the prophets wrote the Word, it was Jesus?word; not that man’s word. Psalms is Jesus?Words; not David’s.

Now, let’s begin this message on seeking with Psalms 69:

V6--Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that SEEK thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

This is Jesus speaking. Here he is saying for us to SEEK God and we will not be confounded [confused] for Jesus?sake. This is a prayer of Jesus for those of us who WAIT on the Lord.

V8--I am become a STRANGER unto my brethren, and an ALIEN unto my mother’s children. His mother’s children speaks of those Jews under the law.

See, here Jesus is saying that he is a STRANGER TO THE JEWS, his brethren. This goes along with the message in Lamentations 5:2--Our inheritance is turned to STRANGERS, our houses to ALIENS.

This is saying that their inheritance turned to Jesus and His children, the NT Christians.

Read Lam. 1:5-- [speaking of those brethren, the Jews [Jerusalem; law covenant]--the LORD hath afflicted her... So see, that this says it was the LORD who did all these things to those old Israelites.

V15--The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me.

Cp. 2:5--The Lord was as an ENEMY: he hath swallowed up Israel.

When you put this together you can see that Jesus is the Stranger and Alien unto the old Israel. So it was he who brought them down. He was their enemy.

Now, back to Psalm 69. For proof that this is Jesus speaking, read verse 9: For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up: and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

Now, you know that this is spoken of Jesus in the New Testament.

v2--They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

See, this is speaking of those in Lamentations which had ‘sat in the gate? those old priests and other leaders of Israel were ‘sitting in the gate?= the way into the house of God. But now, they are speaking against Jesus. You know that it most certainly was those old priests and other leaders of the Jews which spake against Jesus and had him killed.

Now, for more proof that this is about Jesus [who became the stranger and alien to the Jews] ~ v21-They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Now, did you know that the Scripture had prophesied that they would give Jesus vinegar on the cross? You really should read this entire chapter; it is very touching about Jesus and what he suffered. There is also prophesy here about Judas and his fate.

Now v32--The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall LIVE that SEEK GOD.

That is speaking of the New T. Christians. We are the humble who understand this and are the ones who SEEK GOD.

That is enough for this lesson. I will add some more to this as soon as I can. God bless you all.
