first off to Coffee, thank you for being so frank, and may GOD continue to bless you.  You are right about not being able to prove it, but then I say you have proved enough to satisfy my curiosity as to your statement. Thanks.   I was going to post to one specific that one hears so often, "That of being called".  I too heard the call, but I found that GOD doesn't need more talkers, what HE desires is walker, those who will live what they-we all can read for the BOOK is available to anyone these days no matter where, and that there is no real need for folks to enter into ministry if all they can do is talk and talk, recycling olde sermons once yearly or every 2 years something they spent a moment to throw together and then rehearsed or using those earpieces to be prompted. I have yet to meet a preacher who does let GOD speak, most are bit players reciting rehearsed lines.  To Anna. why should I be careful about Peter? Is he going to strike me if I speak what is the open Truth? And why would you think I am funny or playing at being funny while Ray on the other hand thinks I am so bitter and vehement?   I chose the handle for good reason, because it reminds me of how unchristian Peter was towards a Simon of Samaria.I believe that Peter never fully got it to be a christian, he simply repeated the same bad habits that he had seen the pharisees do.   the post was quite simple, do you call your brother by his name or his calling? Those who are close have the name on their lips, but those who are not use the titles.   To Ray, let me ask this question that you can all feel free to answer   Do you think todays christianity is something that GOD is happy about, or do you think that we today have as much if not more to correct in this faith just as is found in Rev.2+3? Finally to Coffee, my KJ in verse 15 reads and to everyone that believes these are the signs    this is one of the verses I have written in my brain and my heart, because of so much bs that is and has been perpetrated in the name of Jesus, Christ or GOD.

Simmogus, I know you wrote this on another group, but I wish to address it to you here.  (Hope you don't mind.)

First let me tell you something about myself.  You asked this of me before.  Now I will tell you a few things.  I do not live a hypocrite life.  I live the Holy life required by God.  His Spirit enables me. He has exercised all the gifts of the Spirit in my life in one way or another. 

 About raising the dead,  I have not yet raised a dead person, except myself.  but I did raise a dead bird once.  Not I, of course, but faith in God.  The bird had flown into my living room window and killed itself.  It did really die.  I saw it and I know when something is dead.  I have witnessed several people dying.  I know death when I see it.  I have seen many animals dies also. I know the bird was DEAD.

I prayed and God brought the bird back to life.  A small thing for God!  I have the full assurance that I will raise a dead person,  other than myself, before I die and stay dead.

yes, I have died.  perhaps twice.  But I know for sure one time.  I was very close to it again when I was in a car accident.  But as I was passing out, I called to Jesus and he brought me back.  The first time,  I actually did die and pass over into the other side.  I am not lying about any of this.  If you know the spirit of truth, you will know I am not lying.

The time I 'died', I had taken some medicene which had the horrible side effect of mortality.  Well, I felt something inside myself check me not to take the stuff.  But the doctor had said I needed to.  Back then I did not have the knowledge and faith against doctors and their poison medicenes that I have now.  So I took it. 

 I became violently sick and told my husband I felt just like I am dying.  In the next instant I did..  I fell into the comode into which I was throwing up.  My head hit the bathtub very hard.  I then was in another world, walking down a long, white hall in a lovely place.  It felt very peaceful and light.  I was glad to be there. 

But I heard my husband calling me and he sounded very frightened......so I pulled myself  back for his sake.  I saw myself go back down the long white hall and re-enter my body.  God knows that I lie not.

God was not finished with me here.  But he let me see passing into the other world.  It nothing to fear.  It is great.  I still had children to raise.  Otherwise, I wish I had stayed there.
