and he has allowed us to see another day so we can praise him

 Luke 2
¹³   And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
¹⁴   Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Luke 2²⁰   And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

¹⁶   But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Revelation 19
