~~ Without form and void ~~

This has been another sleepless night. As sleep fled from me, as it is prone to do many times when my God desires to talk with me, I rose up to pray and study the Word of God. In doing so, He has shown me something I have wondered about for a long time. It is staggering at the true revelation of God’s Holy Word.

This is Sunday morning, August 24, 2003 at 3:00 A.M.

This message is:

Rev. 1: 8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Rev. 3: 14. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; these things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Rev. 21: 6. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Rev. 22: 13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Co. 1: 18. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Now by these five Scriptures I have proven solidly that Jesus is the BEGINNING. But he is also the ENDING.

So this could not possibly be speaking of the beginning of eternity, for if it is then there would have to be an END of eternity. If there is an end, then it is not eternal at all.

He is the first; but he is also the last. So this ‘first?cannot mean the first of anything eternal; for if it did, then there would have to be a ‘LAST?of the same eternal.

Eternal things had neither beginning nor end. So when Genesis speaks of “in the beginning?it does not mean the beginning of God, of eternity, nor of God’s creation; for this will never end.

So what is it speaking of? Of Jesus, that is what. Did not our five verses prove that Jesus is the beginning?

So let’s go back to Genesis. Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

‘Heaven?means spirit; spiritual things. Earth means dust, carnal things. So inside Jesus, in the beginning, was both ‘Heaven?(spiritual) and ‘earth?(fleshly). God placed both things inside Jesus, the man. So in the beginning, in Jesus was made heaven and earth. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen. 1: 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Void means an indistinguishable emptiness.

Jer. 4: 20. Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

Who or what dwelt under tents and curtains? The Old Testament Covenant, of course. So this is the destruction of the OT. Covenant

21. How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

22. For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

23. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

27. For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

Now verse 21 -- the trumpet meant wrath or judgment struck the O.T.

V 22--shows why it happened.

V23--I beheld the ‘EARTH?and it was without form and void. Remember the earth is the human body of Jesus. In the BEGINNING God had created both heaven and earth. So this is the earth that was without form and void = the humanity of Jesus.

Proof? Yes. Isa. 52: 13. Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

14. As many were astoned at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

15. So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

God’s servant spoken of here is Jesus. His visage (face or appearance) was so marred, more than any man and his ‘FORM?more than the sons of men. Thus his ‘earth?or human body was without form and void = no beauty that we should desire him.

Isaiah 53:1. Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Verse 2 - ...he hath NO FORM NOR COMELINESS = without form and void. So this is the ‘earth?which was without FORM AND VOID. It was the crucifixion of our wonderful Saviour, Jesus.

Yes, that is what is being spoken of in Genesis 1: 1. The earth was without form and void - it is speaking of the crucifixion in the very beginning of the Word of God; thus he was ‘SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD?

Now lets go back to Jer. 4. V 23--the heavens had no light? This was at the crucifixion when God turned his back on Jesus and forsook him. All the heavens turned dark; darkness was upon the face of the deep. The light (life of Jesus) went out. It turned dark in the middle of the day showing this.

V.24--The mountains and hills moved-- both in the natural as the earthquakes hit and the storms struck at the time of Jesus?death, and also this is the changing of times = the closing of the O.T. and the starting of a new day, the Day of Grace, the N.T.

Now go back to verse 25, this also shows the complete change of God’s dealings with mankind; the O.T. being done away with, all that method of serving God. So there was no man or spirits at work now.

V 26-- is still showing the change being made at the crucifixion -- all the ‘cities? meaning the old way of serving God, were broken down by God’s anger. He is angry at their sins and his son having to die this way.

V 27--speaks of when Jesus made old Jerusalem DESOLATE. Remember He told them, Your house is left unto you DESOLATE. This is that time. But He said I will not make a full end. Why? Because only a few days later, at Pentecost, they will have a new beginning. Glory!

V 28-- God shows here that because of sin, Jesus had to die; = his flesh had to mourn, and the heavens be black (no light coming forth now)--God is showing that he purposed to let this happen so he could redeem man from total destruction. This is His great LOVE.

Now lets finish this chapter:

29. The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

30. And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

31. For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! For my soul is wearied because of murderers.

V 29-- the whole city means the whole OT. As I have shown in many of my messages, God cut off everything pertaining to that Old Way of doing things = the law, the prophets, and the priests. He cut it all off at Calvary.

So the whole city, the whole OT. Covenant fled at the sound of horsemen and bowmen, they ran to hide somewhere. From what? The sound of the coming of Peter, Paul and all the rest of the NT. Ministers with their power from on high, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Some of them ran into thickets to get away from this. But others ran and climbed up upon the rocks. These ‘ROCKS?were Peter, Paul, James, John and the other apostles. Yes, they ran to Jesus Christ the solid Rock. They fled that Old dead law and hid themselves in Christ Jesus. That whole Old Covenant was forsaken and not a man dwelling there.

So what did they do next? Those who refused to climb up on that Rock of the New Testament, and be clothed with the Glory of God, ran and clothed themselves with crimson (red is sin). And they decked themselves with ornaments of gold and rent their face with painting. This is their big fancy expensive church buildings. They became the fake, Babylon churches. That is why the world is full of fancy, expensive churches everywhere. She ran behind closed doors (the thickets) and tries to hide herself this way from the face of God. She thinks her sins are covered and hidden by her church works.

Verse 31-- This one is glorious. This is the true Jerusalem, the true wife of God, the true Church going into her travail to bring forth that Christ Child, that Man child, the Christ in us, the hope of Glory. This is the true Bride of Christ in her tribulation to bring forth true children of God.

Gen. 1: 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Verse 3-- is the resurrection of Jesus. Yes, that is it. Let there be light after all this darkness is past. Let this death be done away with! Let this Old Covenant of shed blood of animals be done away with. The darkness is now past and the true light now shineth.

God has divided the LIGHT from the DARKNESS. He did this by giving the world Peter, Paul and the written New Testament to bring us to the true Light, Jesus Christ. So this first day covered the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He declared the End at the Beginning. He also divided Light from Darkness at the resurrection, as He separated that earthly, first-man Adam dust body of Jesus from the Holy inside Heaven and gave that Heaven a glorified outside body; thus bringing the ‘husband?(‘Spirit? and ‘wife?(body) together. Now there is no darkness, or carnality of human flesh in this New Creation of God, a Son in the likeness and glory of God the Father.

Jesus was the End of that Old World, that first heaven, and he was the Beginning of the New Day, the Church, Grace, and the Second Heaven. Jesus is the first apostle of the NT. He is the last OT. priest. He is the last OT. prophet. He is the first NT. prophet. He is the first NT. Priest. He is the last of the OT. and the first of the NT. He is the end of the OT. and the beginning of the NT.

Jesus is the beginning of the Creation of God by being the first begotten from the dead. He was the first one up in the resurrection in the likeness and glory of the Eternal God. So Jesus was the ‘earth?which was without form and void. But that void is now filled with Glory never to die anymore. Behold He is alive forevermore. Glory to God. Praise His Sweet Holy Name.

I gave many Scriptures proving that Jesus is the beginning which it is speaking of.

There is no such thing as BEFORE GOD.  For if there was, then it would mean God was not eternal.  Neither will there be anything AFTER GOD, for God will always be.

The Word was in Jesus.  Most teach that Jesus is the Word.  But this is just not taught in the Scriptures.  Jesus gave us the Word;  but he said that God, His Father gave the Word to him to give us.

He said the Word is NOT MINE, BUT THE FATHER'S WHICH SENT ME.

He was not speaking his OWN WORD.  WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO SEE?

He spoke God's Word to us.

If Jesus were the Word, as most teach, then how could he say the Word is not mine?

But Jesus is the beginning of a new life with God which is the New Covenant of Grace.  This is the beginning it speaks of. here;  not a beginning of eternity; for eternity had not beginning; if so, then it would NOT BE ETERNAL.
Jesus was the beginning of a man made in the likeness and glory of God AT HIS RESURRECTION.  This fulfills Gen. one.

Why can people not see this simple matter?

Jesus was that 'earth' which without form and void.  Study this message;  it solidly proves it.  The Word of God is about Jesus.

Jesus is God's Son, not God himself.

Jesus is seated on the thorne of God now as our God, for God placed him there.  Heb. one.

Everyone says Satan is a fallen angel of light.  Can anyone give me one verse which says this?  I sure would like to read that in the Word;  not just what someone says ABOUT the Word.

I give Scripture for everything I write and teach or say.  Yet others just come along and flat deny all of it without one Word of Scripture to back up what they think.

What are they baseing their beliefs on?  Made up lies.

This is an amazing and true message.  It is one which the entire world has missed. They try to interpret the Word of God from a carnal mind,  and it will never work.

I am sending this back to the top so maybe someone will get into this and study.  I have just finished reading it again.  It is food for my soul.

I wish I had quoted more of the verses, for it would make it easier to understand.  But because so many used to fuss about my   'long'  messages I tried at times to cut them short.  This diminishes their powerful impact and clarity.  So I do not do this now.

Also I saw that I failed to make it clear that I had gone back to the Scripture in Jeremiah.  but it is a great message.

Genesis a deep and powerful Book.  I need more time to study it.  But this message is a great start to understanding Chapter one.
