Omniscient----all-knowing. He knows everything about all things.
Then if Jesus is all knowing, then why did he say this? (Tweety)
Mark 13:32 (KJV)
13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. So I ask you this: If he was God then why would he say that neither the angels or the Son or man know the hour when the second coming will happen, but only the Father? You claim Jesus is the Father, so why did he not know this? Did Jesus lie to us? And you say that the Son and the Father are the same? So which is it? Do you not see that they are two different things? God the Father is omniscient. While Jesus was here with us-he was not all knowing. For if he was, then please explain this scripture: (Tweety).
Isaiah 7:14-16 (KJV) 7:14 Therefore the
Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
Now if Jesus was God he would already know good from evil. You did say above that he knows all things. And it says right here in the above passage that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. If he was GOD he would always choose the good. He had to learn what good and evil was. If he was GOD and all knowing he would already know. Let us look at another scripture: (Tweety).
Isaiah 11:1-4 (KJV) 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
This above passage is speaking of Jesus. You can not say that GOD The Father was the stem of Jesse. Jesse was a man. For the Father GOD has no FATHER. And I ask you would Jesus Christ if he were GOD he had to learn to fear HIMSELF? I guess you might say that he was afraid of HIS own shadow. (Tweety).
Let us examine this scripture and see what you come up with?
John 3:16-18 (KJV) 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Now Jesus Christ HIMSELF said these words. How can you not know what he says? If Jesus said that GOD HIS FATHER loved this world so much, that he sent his only begotten SON to save us. How can you twist that scripture to read that Jesus is the FATHER? It would read like this: I loved the world so much that I sent myself into this world so that whosoever believeth in me should not perish, but have everlasting life. For I sent myself not to condemn the world, but that the world through me might me saved. You would have to change scripture in order for the scripture to read the way you believe. (Tweety).
Another scripture that I would like for you to take a look at:
Matthew 19:17 (KJV) 19:17 And he said unto him,
Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Why would Jesus Christ say he was not good if he were GOD? He said GOD was the only one that was good. And that he was not good. (Tweety).
Jesus Christ never claimed to be a Spirit. But made up of flesh and bones. Even after the resurrection Jesus Christ was flesh and bones.
Luke 24:39-40 (KJV) 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. John 19:34 (KJV)
19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
So are you saying now that GOD has blood? A Spirit does not have blood. (Tweety).
If Jesus said the above then why would you say that Jesus Christ is GOD? For Jesus Christ HIMSELF said that GOD WAS A SPIRIT: (Tweety).
John 4:24 (KJV) 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Did not the New Testament writers called the Father, The GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Let us look at the scriptures and see:
Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) 1:3 Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly
places in Christ:
Ephesians 1:17 (KJV)
1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Ephesians 3:14 (KJV) 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Peter 1:3 (KJV)
1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Matthew 27:46 (KJV) 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,
Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? John 20:17 (KJV)
20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
And Jesus Christ has always in scripture been called the "SON OF GOD". NOT GOD HIMSELF: (Tweety).
2 John 1:3-4 (KJV) 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy,
and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
Matthew 16:27 (KJV)
16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Revelation 1:6 (KJV) 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him
be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 14:1 (KJV)
14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Matthew 7:21 (KJV)
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
On occasions Jesus thanked HIS FATHER THAT WAS IN HEAVEN, (For GOD ALWAYS HAS AND ALWAYS WILL DWELL IN HEAVEN.) Now if Jesus was GOD why would he lift up his eyes towards heaven? Do you know where heaven is? (Tweety).
John 11:41-42 (KJV) 11:41 Then they took away the stone
from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up
his eyes, and said,
Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
Omnipotent--all-powerful. His power is sovereign above all power.
Show me in scripture where he showed any power and he contributed that power to HIMSELF (Tweety)
