(p.s.  This was a question one of our past members asked me)

~~~~~~~~~~>>>
Is the Father Almighty?
Is Jesus the Almighty?
How many can be Almighty?
I am sure that if someone is Almighty that it excludes anyone else from being equal to that position.
1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Gen 17:1 (KJV)
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Rev 1:8 (KJV)
Dave.  Will you listen a bit?  I used to think of it like that too.  But that is just carnal human reasoning.  It is not God's way.
Seek for God to teach you.  He will if you are sincere.  I kept praying and praying for God to give me His truth.
He truly does teach me now,  himself.  It is most wonderful and totally different from man's teachings.
Let me reason with you a minute.  (don't have much time now.  got to go to my aunt's funeral today, then to my weekend job.)
But I will take this up again next week.  But for now, let me ask you a thing.  Just reasoning.   Are you American?  Am I?  How many others are just as American?  See?
Does your being american make it where no other person can be American?  Do not we  both have the same rights and power as an American?
Are you human?  Does this mean no other person can be human?
Am I any less of a woman, just because billions of others are just as woman.  Do I not have the power to produce children, as millions of other women have?
Are you any less of a man because billions of others are men?
Then God's kingdom is exactly the same way.  There is not just one member of the God kingdom.  Paul explained it in 1Cor 12 and Romans 12,  the same way.  As our human body is made up many members,  yet it is just ONE body,  so is Christ.
Christ is made up many members.  Christ is the IMAGE of GOD.
So God is also a body made up of MANY MEMBERS.
They are more than the stars of heaven or the sand on the sea shore.  Each is just as 'GOD' as the other.
Each is just as ALMIGHTY as the other.  The angels are the same way.
Is there just 1  ANGEL?  No.  they are surely more than the stars in number.
Is any of them less ANGEL than the others?  Of course not.
So is God.  He is a kingdom of innumerable members,  each with the very same character and power.  THEY ARE ALL ONE.
We are all one.
God made MAN  =- human kingdom ,  IN HIS IMAGE.
God is not just  1  person.  He is many members.
Jesus is part of that God kingdom, since he resurrected and ascended to heaven.  God set Jesus on God's throne in heaven.  (He was not part of the God kingdom, while on earth.  He was of the human kingdom.)
Jesus' kingdom is to be on this earth.
He is not in his own throne now,,, but he is on the throne of his Father, with just the very same power, understanding and glory as the Father has.
All power in heaven and earth was GIVEN TO JESUS,  THUS THE POWER OF THE GODHEAD RESTS BODILY IN JESUS CHRIST.  God told us to worship his Son, thus making him our God.  Heb. one.
he now rules as God.  Thus he is our Lord and our God.  But also his father is our God.  But we have to go to him through his Son, Jesus Christ.
The Word of God teaches this.  It does not teach that God left heaven,  got into Mary, and became a human baby.
That teaching is of the DEVIL.
Heb. 9:24 says that Christ entered into heaven, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
Now do you believe that Jesus is God?  If so, how is it that he went to appear INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD?
If he is God, how is he in the presence of himself?  Why would he have to enter into heaven to appear in the presence of God?   Was He in His own presence on earth?  Is it correct to say one enters into the presence of his own self?  [I think not.]
Anyone here have an anwer?
Open your heart and let God speak.  Let the Word say what it is truly saying.
Anyone else who wishes to, may also join in on this study.  In fact, I wish everyone of you would join in.  Truth is all that matters.
Now here is my first question:
Lu 2:22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
This is when Jesus was eight days old.  They brought him to the temple to PRESENT HIM TO THE LORD.
Now my question:
If Jesus, this tiny baby, were God, the Lord, why are they bringing him to the temple to PRESENT him to the Lord?
If he is the Lord, how is it they are presenting him TO the Lord?  Why would they have had to bring him to the temple to present him to the Lord?  Would not he have been with the Lord all the time, and everywhere, seeing he is the lord?
Joie
Lu 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
 The grace OF GOD was UPON him [Jesus].  Now if Jesus actually WERE God, this could not be said.  It would not be true language, that the grace of God was upon Him.
Lu 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Again, if Jesus were God, this could not be said..........Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour  with God.
How could he increase in favour with God, if he were God?
Now this one shows that after Jesus was grown, and ascended to heaven, he still was to appear in the presence of God.
This proves solidly to any right thinking person, that God is different from Jesus.
If Jesus were this God, he would not have had to be presented TO GOD.
Heb. 9:24 says that Christ entered into heaven, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
Now do you believe that Jesus is God?  If so, how is it that he went to appear INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD?
If he is God, how is he in the presence of himself?  Why would he have to enter into heaven to appear in the presence of God?   Was He in His own presence on earth?  Is it correct to say one enters into the presence of his own self?  [I think not.]
Almighty = ALL MIGHTY.
It seems the very definition of the word Almighty can only mean one numerically that is mighter than all.
It is impossible for there to be two Almighties, it would be a contradiction of the sense of the word.
If Jesus is the beginning of the Creation of God, then how can he claim to be the "First and the Last", when God claimed that title in the OT?
Why do both claim to be God here:
6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, AND HIS redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isaiah 44:6 (KJV)
Notice that the "LORD the king of Israel", AND HIS "Redeemer the LORD of Hosts" both claim to be the One God!!!!
Why would one God need to be redeemed by the other?
Dave. go back and read what I wrote!  The answers are there.
God is a kingdom.  God not a single, lone being.  Every member of that kingdom is just as 'God' as the others and just as 'all mighty' and just a powerful as any other member.  There are no criples or feeble-minded members there.
That is a flaw in the son, or human kingdom, because of sin.  Sin is not in the kingdom of God, so all members of God are healthy and have eternal life and power.
Jesus was NOT part of that God kingdom.  He was and is part of the Son or human kingdom.  We are part of that same kingdom, for we are sons of God, through Jesus Christ.
But Jesus is the only member of the human kingdom which God lifted up above the others to become part of the God kingdom.
But on earth, this was not so.  The beginning of the creation of God, means that Jesus was the very first human man to be created into the new creation, of man in the likeness of God.  That happened at his RESURRECTION,  not when Mary gave birth to Jesus.
Find this answer.  Seek it honestly.  If Jesus were God, hanging on that cross.  and God FORSOOK that man on the cross......and IF the false teaching of Jesus being God in flesh, had been true,  (which it is not)...and as the 'Jesus-only' folks claim,  the spirit of Jesus was God himself,  and Jesus had not human spirit or mind,  then who called out to God from that cross,   "MY  GOD,  MY  GOD.  WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"
You need to get this answer.  If Jesus' spirit had been God,  then his body was lifeless without the spirit.  They are saying that the body of Jesus is just a lifeless hunk of clay.  Now they might not every bring themselves to see that this is what they are saying,  but it has to be.
Unless Jesus had a human soul and spirit and mind of his very own, apart from God, then his body was just a lifeless clay house for God to get into.
It is not taught in Scripture this way.
So then, if his spirit was God, and God left that body and FORSOOK it, then who called out to God,  why have you forsaken me?
How did God forsake himself?  And if so, how was that body still alive?  Why would he call himself,  My God?
LORD,  with all caps,  means God.
Lord means our lord, or Jesus, a man.  So both are in Scripture.
Jesus was the beginning of the New Covenant, or new heaven and earth.
Jesus was the ending of the old Covenant  or law.
How do you explain it?  How was God the end?  what end?  He had not beginning or end.
So what is your answer to your own questions?
