p.s.  I need to keep this so I can find it easily, as I need to use it quite often.

Here is the truth to John 8:

Now I want to show you right here how you are twisting the Scripture to try and prove your false teaching, by covering up [same as taking away from the Word.] Here are your own words, and it is not the first time you have posted these same twisted words here.  You do not quote Scriptures as I do.....you list it like this: John 8: 20-30.  And in doing so, you leave out most of the thought, thus you make it a lie.

Now you said this:

Jesus emphasized the importance of his identity as He taught the people in the temple. He said,..For if you believe not that I AM HE,ye shall die in your sins..They understood not.(just like you dont understand)that He spoke to them of the Father..John 8:24-27

But below is the true way Jesus said this:  So who is changing the Word?  Who is blindind their own self?  It is you.

John 8: 24.  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
 25.  Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

WHO ARE THOU?  Now that is a question many people are asking and most are mixed up about.  Who is Jesus?

John 8: 28.  Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

 29.  And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Jesus said    WHEN  YE  HAVE LIFTED UP   THE   SON  OF  MAN,  then shall YOU  KNOW    THAT  I  AM HE.

Then shall you know that  I AM THE SON OF MAN.  That is who the man Jesus was, the  SON  OF MAN.  He was Not God.

He did not ever tell them he was God.  You cannot find that.  You are accusing Jesus of the same sin Adam did in the beginning ------- == lifting himself up as   GOD.

Jesus never at any time said He was God.

Jesus said  I do nothing of myself.  v 28.  Did you ever read that?

He said  when you lift up the Son of Man then shall you know that I am he.  He who?  the son of man.  Now that is what Jesus said he was,  you can't find one place where Jesus ever said   I am God!

Show if it you think it is written.  It is NOT.

This is very serious people!  Do you realize that this is saying that if you believe ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT JESUS WAS THE SON OF MAN,   THAT YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS.

Then it is true, just as  I thought.  To believe any other doctrine other than this,  that Jesus was a human man here on earth, will cause you to die lost.

If you say He was God, then you will die in your sins.  Jesus himself said this, not me.

He did not say you must believe I am God.  He said you must believe that I am the  SON OF MAN.

If he said believe I am God,  I want one person to write that verse here for me.

deal with verse 28.  When you have lifted up the SON OF MAN, THEN SHALL YOU KNOW THAT   I  AM HE............WHO?  son of man.  He did not tell them I am the Father or I am God.  Anyone who claims this is lying against the Word of God.

Do you realize that no one called God his Father in the Old Testament?   There is no such words as,  "God the Father"  in the OT.  Wonder why?

There are no such words as God The Son in all the Bible.  Wonder why?
There are no such words as God the Holy Ghost in all the Bible.  wonder why?

Sons of God are mentioned only twice in Genesis, before the flood.  They disappeared then until Jesus came.
Sons of God are mentioned three times in the Book of Job, but it is speaking of back before the flood, or at some time in heaven.

the OT Men were not sons of God after that flood.  They disappeared and only sons of men were found in the Word.

None of them could call God their FATHER.

He was not their FATHER.  he was their Lord, but not their Father.

Jesus is the only one who ever came in the NAME OF THE FATHER.

Since Jesus, we must come in the name of Jesus Christ.

The father is now resting and Jesus is ruling in the NT.  We must work through Jesus and him only.  We cannot go to the Father.
Jesus is our father.  He is our God.
HE is our Lord.  God is his Father.  God is his LORD.

In the Name of ....means the power by which we may work.

I pray in the name of Jesus.  So then, is Jo the name of Jesus?

People do teach such foolish doctrine!!  We only can become sons of God again through Jesus Christ.

David came in the name of the LORD.  Jesus came in the name of the Father.

God was his father.  God said I will be to him a father, and he will be to me a son.

The jesus-only doctrine does away with this glorious truth.  so does the trinity lie.

One is the Father and the other is the Son.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

So how do we prove that Philip did not go away thinking that Jesus is the Father? Simple. Go to what Philip preached.

Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

Ac 8:27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

Ac 8:28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

Ac 8:29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

Ac 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? Ac 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

Ac 8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

Ac 8:33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

Ac 8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

Ac 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. Ac 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Ac 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Ac 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Ac 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Ac 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

This eunuch knew nothing about Jesus Christ when Philip joined himself to his chariot. He was reading in Isa 53. He asked Philip if Isaiah were speaking of himself or some other man. This proves that the man knew nothing about Jesus. Philip began at the same Scripture and preached Jesus to this man. So, how do we know what Philip taught the man? By the man’s on confession of belief.

They came to some water. The man asked to be baptized, proving that Philip had taught the man that Baptism is a necessary part of salvation. Philip said if you believe with all your heart, you may be baptized. What did the man say he believed?

Ac 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

The man said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the SON OF GOD. He did not say, I believe that Jesus is God.

So this proves that Philip had taught this man that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. It is the very same revelation which Peter had declared and Jesus had verified is the true revelation from the Father, and is the true foundation on which he builds his Church. Are you on the right foundation? Not if you believe that Jesus Christ is God. None of the Apostles taught this doctrine. And this proves that Philip did not take Jesus?words to mean that Jesus was the Father. This is NOT what Philip taught the eunuch.

Warning!!
Be very careful of the 'split-Jesus' doctrine.  what is it?
the false Jesus-only ,  Jesus is God, and there is no other.  definitely anti-Christ doctrine.

Jesus' outside, or body, was fully human.....
His inside or his own mind/spirit/soul, was God.

In other words,  God was not IN Christ.  His insides was God.

Lots of difference.  Certianly NOT Apostolic doctrine.

Not one single disciple taught such a false doctrine....as a split-Jesus.   Neither will I.   Nor will I believe it.
What about you?  Will you allow their lies to take you to hell?

You know that history shows that the early Pentecostal men agreed to split and let some of them start organizations using the different ideas.   = trinity and jesus-only?  It is true.  I have read the history of this.

All those men just sat down together and SURMISSED, and decided on some doctrine to start an organization with.

It got its start exactly as the trinity did.... = a group of un-anointed men just deciding on some doctrine.

neither of them had any revelation from God.  It was totally satanic....to bring about confusion and  DIVISION.  to cause this religion to  FALL.

I knew I had a more complete version of this John 8.  Here it is:

~` I said unto you ~` By: Jo Smith ****** March 21, 2007

If we are to believe some doctrine, we need to know that Jesus taught it or confirmed it. We also need to know that the Apostles and Prophets taught it. In other words, it must be stated in Written Scripture. If you believe something which is not written in Scripture, then you have no foundation or proof. It has not been established by God to be truth. It must be stated at least twice in Scripture to be established as truth. It must have two witnesses. Nothing is established with only one witness, by decree of God.

So while the ‘storm?rages among all church folks, about who Jesus is, what did Jesus say? What did the Apostles say? What did Moses and other prophets say? Now the burden of proof is on those who claim something which is not taught in Scripture. It is not up to those of us who say it is not written, to prove or disprove their doctrine. The very fact that it is not written, is all the proof we need. But to those who insist upon claiming a doctrine which is not written in Scripture, thus setting someone’s word above God’s Word, then it is their place to PROVE what they are saying. All I need for proof is that it is not in Scripture. For instance, trinity. It is not once written in Scripture, so that settles it for me that it is false. Rapture? It also is not taught in Scripture, so it is false. Some say well the ‘principal?is taught. Then you must prove it with some written Scripture, else you are just accepting some man’s interpretation. Private interpretation is forbidden by God and proves it is wrong.

So now, lets check what Jesus said about himself. Who did he say I am? If you say that he is God, then you must find where Jesus said, I am God. I say it is not in Scripture. God told us many, many times in the OT Scriptures that I am God and there is none else beside me. So now, If Jesus were that same God, why would he not make it clear? Why would he never one time say, I am God? He did not claim to be God, because he was not God.

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Joh 8:25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

Now carnal minded men think Jesus was saying that he was living in heaven before he came here. That is not what he is saying here. He is telling those people that they are of this world system and he is not. He is from God’s Kingdom, same as I am. I am also from above. It does not mean he lived there before he was born here. That is carnal interpretation, for no Scripture states this.

There was a man sent from God, named John. Does this mean John lived in heaven first? You decide for yourself.

Not in verse 24 Jesus said if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. The false churches claim this means that we must believe that Jesus is God. But see, nothing has been said here about being God. Those Jews wondered too. They asked him who are you? Jesus said unto them even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. So then if you think he meant he was God, you must go back to the beginning of his ministry or life, and find where Jesus told them, I am God. Now when you find me that Scripture, I will hush about this. But until then, you need to listen to this truth.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. (He is WITH me. He has not left me alone! HUH? Yet this false church claims that he is all alone in eternity.) See they are calling Jesus a lie.

Jesus said, when ye have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I AM HE. Now that was the answer to their question, who are you? The Jesus-only people twist this Scripture where it said they knew not that he spoke of the Father, to say it refers to this. It did not. He was speaking of the above verses when he said if you had known me you should have known my Father also.

He was NOT saying I am the Father. He said ye must believe that I am the Son of man. You twist this Scripture totally out of its rightful words to say he was telling them I am God. He said no such thing.

Jesus referred to himself, or Scripture does, as Son of Man some 85 times in the New Testament. That is far above what is required to make it established. How many times did he say, I am God? Not one. Wonder why? Now look at this:

Mt 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Mt 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Right there, in two verses, Jesus called himself the Son of man. Both times he was speaking of after his DEATH. He said the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father. So he is still Son of Man. Proof?

Ac 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

That was Stephen as they stoned him to death. He said the Son of man is in heaven now, at the right hand of God. He did not say, I see God. He said I see the Son of man.

Re 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Now there is the same one coming on that white cloud. He was like unto the son of man. Had not changed one bit from this like unto the Son of man.

Lu 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Now see that Luke said the son of man is coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Still the Son of man. He still is not God.

Lu 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Now that is enough proof that when Jesus returns to earth, he is still Son of man. For those of you who claim that he was God before, and left that a while, then went back to heaven and picked it back up, what do you make of this? Where is your proof? Prove it with written Scripture, as I have done here.

John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? Joh 9:36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? Joh 9:37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

Here we see that Jesus told the man the Son of God talked to you. Not once does he ever say, I am God. Most of the time he referred to himself as Son of man. But on a few occasions he confessed to being the Son of God, but never God. Most of the time when Son of God is mentioned, it was someone other than Jesus saying it. His inner man was the Son of God, not his outer man. His outer man was Son of David, human flesh. His inner man was born of God, the very same way our inner man must be to be a son of God. It was spiritual, not physical.

Jesus proclaimed his oneness with his Father, for he was in total agreement with God at all times, never rebelling and doing his own way or speaking his own words. Watch:

John10:30 I and my Father are one. 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Now that Scripture has been greatly misused to try and accuse Jesus of saying he was God or equal with God, just the same lie those Jews were falsely accusing him of. They wanted to kill Jesus. If Jesus were here today, teaching his truth, most church folks would still want to kill him. He could not stay on one single group on the internet, except ours. None of the Apostles would be welcome anywhere, except here.

How do I Know? Because I teach exactly what they said, and it is not welcome anywhere. When Jesus asked them why they wanted to kill him, they said because you, being a man, makest thyself God. See they were falsely accusing Jesus, for they had no idea what he meant. They misinterpreted every word he said, just as people still do. But see how Jesus showed them that it is not what he was saying. He said if he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, why are you saying I blaspheme because I said, I am the Son of God?

Now that is what Jesus said I am. He said, I am the Son of God. He said I am the Son of man. He never once said, I am God. Where did he say that? Now that is what Jesus told them from the beginning to the end. That is what is meant in John 8. If you believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Who are you? Even the same that I SAID FROM THE BEGINNING.

All he ever said was I AM THE SON OF MAN?I AM THE SON OF GOD. Never once had he told them I am God. Yet an entire false church sprang up around the lie, that he said, ye must believe that I said I am he, and they claim he meant God. It is blasphemy! This is who Jesus told them he was, son of man, son of God. They said who are you? He said even the same which I SAID UNTO YOU. So what else did he ever say unto them? Nothing!

When the rich young ruler came to Jesus and said, Good master. Jesus rebuked this and said, why do you call me good? Only one is good and that is God. So here Jesus flat denied being God. He refused to let this man call him good. This should be enough proof to everyone.

When Nicodemus approached Jesus he said, we know that you are a teacher COME FROM GOD, for no man can do these works except GOD BE WITH HIM. With him. Same thing Jesus said, He is WITH me, he has not left me alone. Why is everyone calling Jesus a lie? Jesus accepted this salutation from Nicodemus, for he had the truth. He was not accusing Jesus of being God.

AMEN!
