Acts 16:16-40---In this passage we are told about a girl who had a spirit of divination. After following Paul around several days crying These men are the servants of the most high God... Paul cast the spirit out of her. Her masters saw that their means of gain was gone and brought Paul and his companions before the magistrates saying they had exceedingly troubled our city and teach wrong things. Then after having them beaten, they cast them into prison.

v36---And the keeper of the prison told Paul the magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in PEACE.

v37--But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? Nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

See, after they mistreated Paul they wanted them to leave ‘peaceably�? But Paul refused to do as they asked. He was not after their brand of ‘peace�?

1Cor. 10:21--Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

11Cor. 6:14-16---Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

v15---And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

v16---And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

11Kings 9:---- In this chapter we are told of the bringing in of Jehu as King of Israel. v18--So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king (this king was the son of Jezebel) Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with PEACE? Turn thee behind me. ....

v19---- Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the King, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with PEACE? Turn thee behind me.

So, then the King Ahaziah went to meet Jehu. v22----- And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it PEACE Jehu? And he answered, What peace, SO LONG AS THE WHOREDOMS OF THY MOTHER JEZEBEL AND HER WITCH-CRAFTS ARE SO MANY?

The rest of the chapter tells of Jehu having Jezebel killed, according to the prophecy of Elijah.

But, notice, that Jehu said there could be no PEACE so long as Jezebel and her whoredoms and witch-crafts were so many. See, the whore church with her witch-crafts, which is the Mystery Babylon told about in Revelation chapters 17 & 18, cry for us to have PEACE. It is a deception; for there can be no PEACE with her and her whoredoms and her witch-crafts. The true people of God will recognize this: that we can not fellowship their error; that we can have no peace with her; for Jesus said he came not to send PEACE; but a SWORD. Only the true people of truth can have PEACE with each other. And even among them, it is not wrong to debate and argue the Scriptures. That was done quite a lot among the apostles. So let’s not let them keep us from debating the Word with their false cry for PEACE AND LOVE. This is the true love; to try to help others find the truth. Debate is the best means of doing this.

Peace---part two

Matt. 10: 12--And when ye come into an house, salute it.

v13--And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

v14---And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

v23---But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Now, I think this would also apply to these MSN Christian communities as well.

v34---Think not that I am come to send PEACE on earth: I came NOT to send PEACE, but a SWORD. (this is Jesus�?words)

v35---For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

v36---And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

v37---He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

v38---And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

So, this is telling us we will have conflict, not peace, with those who do not love the same Spirit we love, the TRUTH. If we seek peace with those, we are not worthy of the Lord. He causes division between His children and Satan’s children.

Isa. 33:7---Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of PEACE shall weep bitterly.

This speaks of those who cry false PEACE ---to be had with all.

Jer. 6:13---For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

v14---They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, PEACE, peace, WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE.

This shows that the ‘false�?ones cried PEACE , but there was no peace.

Jer. 8:10-11---Here again, we have the false ones saying PEACE, PEACE, when there is no peace.

Pro. 7: 4-23-- Here we are told to have wisdom to keep us from the strange woman (the false church)---v11 tells she is loud and stubborn---v14---she says she has ‘peace offerings with her.

See, her fake offering is PEACE.

Jer.14:19---Here the forsaken Judah asks God “why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!�?See they had done wrong against God, looked for PEACE in that condition, but there was no peace for them.

Jer.23:17---They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have PEACE; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

Peace---Part three

Here, some one is telling those against God, that they shall have PEACE but God says NO.

In Jer.28---We are told of the false prophet, Hananiah who tried to tell the Israelites they would return in two years and have peace. But the true prophet, Jeremiah had said 70 years.

v8--The prophets before me of old, told of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

v9--When a prophet prophesieth of PEACE and it comes to pass, then we will know that prophet was sent of the Lord.

See here, the true prophets had prophesied of WAR, EVIL, AND OF PESTILENCE. So the WAR was what God sent. Paul said our weapons of WAR are not carnal but Spiritual. So, if we are to have this fake ‘PEACE AND LOVE�?, why did Paul speak of our weapons of WAR? We WAR against FALSE TEACHINGS. We WAR against fake leaders of God’s people. We WAR against those trying to keep us from DEBATING the WORD OF GOD.

True children of God, don’t let them stop you!!! Keep fighting the good FIGHT of FAITH.

Eze. 13:6-10--- This tells again of the false prophets prophesying lies about peace and having vain visions. v10---Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, PEACE; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered mortar.

So, the lies (false teachings) is building a wall with untempered mortar. It will fall. So if we try to get truth to others, we are trying to help them build a wall (their spiritual lives) with tempered mortar; so it will not fall when the storms come against it. It is a sin to tell them they will have PEACE when they are built on a wall that is going to fall. It is wrong to tell us we can have PEACE with them; for Jesus said we can not have peace with Satan’s people. He came to bring a SWORD; not PEACE between those who disagree over the Word.

So, the kindest and only Christian thing we can do is to debate the Word, to try to help others find the truth, which is the tempered mortar.

Dan. 8: 25---(speaking of the anti-christ)---And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by PEACE shall destroy many: -----so here we see the anti-chirst using fake PEACE to destroy many people.

Micah 3:5--Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, PEACE; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

So here, the false prophets, crying PEACE prepare war against the Lord. So it is evident that their brand of PEACE is not of the Lord. He said he came not to bring peace, but a sword. Only in Him and between his true people can there be PEACE.

So, when we see people who always come against those of us debating the Word, and crying we should have PEACE, you will know that these are the false prophets. Telling you you can have peace by not debating the Word. This is false PEACE. It will damn the souls of those who believe a lie about the Word. For God himself said he would send them strong delusion who believe not the truth, that they may be damned who received not a love for the TRUTH. So, Saints of God, do not be intimidated by those who keep calling what we are doing stirring up trouble. It is just not Scriptural. Paul debated (argued) the Word daily.

I will do a message about the way the apostles argued and debated the Word regularly next. It would make it too long to put it in with this.

Hope this will help you to see that contending over the Word of God is not wrong; it is not causing us to not have PEACE. True PEACE can only come from knowing the truth and fellowshipping with truth.

This is a very good message Joie. I never thought of it all that way before. But I see what you are saying and I agree.

I was wondering if maybe the scripture in 1Thes.5:3 where it says when they shall say peace and safety; then sudden destruction, could be referring to what you are showing us here.

Yes, Wanna, I thought of that Scripture also when I was doing the message. I do believe that would come under this teaching. When people say all is peace (as is the world council of churches) then destruction will come.

Did you know that Jesus said they hated him for he testified of them that their deeds were evil? Yes, Jesus himself, testified of people that their deeds were evil. Sometimes people have the wrong idea of what is Godly and what is not. It is a false, let's all get together, type of religion. But it is foreign to the Scriptures.

This is such a good message and needful I want to send it to the top again. This is one of our most battlegrounds. We had a lady 'minister' join here a while back. Not even realizing it would offend her in any kind of way, but only to mention it, I told her that we debate here.

Well, she hit the ceiling, so to speak. She proved to me something I have been saying about the false 'shepherds'///////// that they think they have the only right to teach and they have the right to tell the sheep of God what to believe....and that they must just listen to them....well she got upset at me and wrote me two emails, balling me out over this issue....she said to me.......we do not argue with them...we just tell them how it is and it is up to them to accept it or reject.

Now see that she proved the attitude I had said 'they' have....she actually thought she had a right, because she calls herself a 'minister', to just tell the sheep what they are to believe and they have no rights at all to 'argue' it with her or discuss it or as we call it 'debate' the issue. They, fake ministers, think no one else has any right to challenge what 'they' tell them to believe. This is the sinful attitude of almost all 'pastors' and evengelists.

They are not true ministers of God who hold this sinful attitude. It is THEIR souls; THEY have a right to check it all out with the Word and debate it and ask questions with the meaning of 'questioning' what is being said. People get to the truth....every child of God has the very same rights as to finding and teaching truth.

Any fake minister who denies you this right, you should get away from them as fast as possible, for they will lead you to hell.
