I have a brother-in-law who has had Emphasima for nine years.       today they brought him home from the hospital under hospice care.  They said the doctor thinks he will only live a couple more weeks,  maybe a little more.

He is very tired of trying to breathe and is not fighting it this time, as he always had.  He said he is just too tired to keep going through it anymore.

So remember them in your prayers.  My sister is needing prayer to help her through this.  They have been married over 50 years.

Love to you all,
JO

Lord Jesus, I pray about this request that has been made. Lord Jesus, I know that the Drs. have said that this man has not long to live and this man has about given up on life, which is not good. I know that not been able to breath can take a toll on someone. But I also know that you are a healer even when the Drs. say there is no chance.

I see where one time in the Bible all you had to do was touch the casket of a man, this man has pass from this world and yet you brought him back to life and I know you are still the same to-day as you were yesterday and you are still able to do the same.

But Lord Jesus, my prayer for this man, is that he sees the need for Repentance and Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and being filled with the Holy Ghost if he has not already done so.

Lord I also pray for this man's family that what ever happens that they can have comfort in knowing that there is a God that cares for them, no matter what ever happens in this situation.

Thank you, Brother Larry.  You are the only person in our group [if there is a group] who will offer prayer such as this.

My brother-in-law does not wish to have anything to do with God.  He lays in the hospital bed and still curses God.  He still carries on his vulgar speech.  He will never turn to God in repentance.  He sees no need for it or something.  Guess when one spends their entire life in sin and hating the things of God, their heart is too hard to seek God even in the face of death.

I do not really look for him to ever repent.  So at this time I feel no need to pray for him in any kind of way.  But I still will pray for them.  My sister is also against anything concerning true Holiness.  She believes the dead Baptist religion, and is not even very fervent about that.

But she is a good person as far as this life.  I know they will need comfort from God as death comes into their family.  So I asked prayer for them.

Sure I would love to see them all turn to God and find salvation.  But I do not see it happening.

Sometimes God lets us know there is no further need to pray for one's salvation.  This is the sad part.

He will not even allow their pastor to talk to him about God and salvation.  So I see no hope he will ever turn to God in repentance.  Guess He would rather die in sin.

So sad.
It is a dangerous thing to put off serving God until you are old and diseased.  Your heart will harden and God will not call you.

Jo

Well, today my brother-in-law died and went out into eternity.  I spent most of the day with them.  I was there as he took his last breath.

So the family still needs prayer and God's comforting presence.  I truly felt His great presence as I prayed for my sister as death closed in on Fred.  He went very peacefully.

They are taking it very hard.  He and my sister have been married about 52 years.  She lost part of herself today.

So remember us in prayer this week.  I will not have much time here for a while.

My little doggie is having a rough time with his shot leg.  I brought him home from the hospital yesterday.  He was in a lot of pain.

Some heartless, mean people live in this world!

I hate having to leave Banjie here alone right now; but have no choice.  My Sister's family has to come first.

I will attempt to get to the 'Mark of the beast teaching' just as soon as the funeral business is over.

Goodnight.  Me am very tired and in need of some sleep.

Love to you all,
Jo
