Does anyone have the answer to what is the deep sleep? Somehow another I think it has to do with the grave or death. The book of Acts also associates the deep sleep with death. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. Does anyone have a revelation of this? If so I would like to hear it. Some how I see this as the death of Jesus and his resurrection. He went forth in the grave as Adam and came out of the Grave as Eve. In other words the flesh that was closed up was the law. Jesus died under the law which was of Adam and came forth under Grace which was Eve. For if ye live after the flesh, ( law the tree of Good AND EVIL) ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, ( LAW) these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. |
