Why was this question asked of Peter and the apostles on the day of Pentecost?
Acts 2:37
Now
when they
heard
this, they were
pricked
in their
heart,
and
said
unto
Peter
and
to the
rest
of the
apostles,
Men
and
brethren,
what
shall we
do
?
My thoughts on this after I hear some of yours.

Seems to me these people realized they were in serious trouble and needed help. They wanted to be saved and forgiven of their sins, especially the sin of crucifying Jesus.
