Freeborn, OK. I understand what you are saying. But in Genesis when God said "Let there be light", I think that the light was already there but it was hidden by the darkness. You can say that God had created the light before he said this. The light was already created and also darkness was already there also. God is the creator of all things. So he created the light and the darkness before. He separated it in Genesis. We do not have true darkness now. The light always is there in the darkness. But that darkness in Genesis was darkness that had no light in it. I would not want to experience that darkness that is in Genesis. Tweety |
