Hi again, Tweety.

I took a look at Bishop's board to see what Beffers had said to you.  Here it is:

From: Beffers Sent: 3/29/2008 12:15 AM
Hi Tweety! Long time between conversations. How are you? I pray you aren't still absorbing Joie's nonsense.

Now if you will read these passages very closely you will see that God made Man and Women together in HIS image.

The verse doesn't say God made them 'together.' It just says He made them. You assume they were made together for which I'm surprised since Genesis 2 explains the creation. And if you do not believe the Scriptures contradict themselves then you should never have come to your conclusion in the first place. Genesis 2:7,18, 21-23 does not contradict Genesis 1:26-27 nor does it suggest two creations but supplies detail of Adam and Eve's creation. Simply put, they were "made…at the beginning" (Matt. 19:4). As previously mentioned, you must realize that the account in chapter one does not say or assert that Adam and Eve were created together or at the exact same moment. However, both Adam and Eve were created on day six (Gen. 1:24-31). Chapter two supplies the detail that Adam was made from the dust and Eve from a "rib" of Adam (Gen. 2:7;21-22). Chapter two also presents information as to Adam's loneliness that "precipitated" God forming Eve (Gen. 2:20). That should have told you their creations were distinct and seperate. Do not try to interpret one verse apart from the other verses that pertain to the same subject. To do this invites doubt and uncertainty as to the validity of God's word and can (and does) lead you to false conclusions.

Now right there that is two creations of man and women. And I just proved it with scripture.

Actually the Scriptures themselves proved your conclusion wrong.

Nice to see you again!!!

My Words:

Now here is the proof that he is wrong and does not know how to rightly divide or understand Scripture.  Hope you show this to him.  You do not have to say I wrote it, but you show him this proof that he is wrong:

After the chapter one creation was FINISHED,  God said this:

Ge 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

See, there was NOT a man.....to till the ground.

see that in chapter one, God created the birds and whales and fish, (all creatures which live in water)..on day five.

On day six, he FIRST created all the animals,  then Adam and Eve.  it does not make any time distinction here, between the creation of Adam and Eve.  For anyone to say there is,  is to add things to the Word, which God did NOT say.

Beffers claimed that Adam was lonely and that is why God decided to make Eve.  But not one word is mentioned in Scripture saying that Adam was lonely.  That is NOT why God made Eve.

But notice that God had ALREADY formed Adam, or man, from the dust of the ground.  Then he does this next:

Ge 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Ge 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Ge 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

See, here is the SOLID PROOF that chapter one creation is NOT THIS CREATION IN CHAPTER TWO.  The first thing God formed here, in cp. 2, was  man.

Then he said it is not good that the man be ALONE.  this proves that Eve was not present yet, and neither were any animals or birds present.  Adam was all ALONE.

God said I will make him an helpmeet.  But then...

God created all the fish, the birds and the animals, of THIS creation.  He then brought ALL OF these animals to Adam for Adam to name.

THEN....it says:

Ge 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Now see, here is the SOLID PROOF that this is entirely DIFFERENT from chapter one.

God had made all the animals BEFORE he made either the man or the woman, which he made together,  (no time laspe is given there, and no way to make one)...

But here, in chapter two, he made the MAN first....AND HE WAS ALONE.......THEN GOD MADE ALL THE BIRDS AND ANIMALS......AFTER THE MAN......AND BROUGHT THEM TO THE MAN FOR ADAM TO NAME........BUT THERE WAS STILL NO  HELPMEET FOR ADAM.

So, here, man was made first....then animals and birds.....then last of all,  WOMAN.

Now how in this world can any sensible, right thinking person not see that there is no way this matches chapter one?  It cannot be the same creation.  If anyone thinks it is,  they must call this account in Gen. one and two, a lie.
