~~ The Open Door ~~ December 7, 2005, 2:00a.m. ~~ By: Jo Smith

It is now two in the morning. When I went to bed three hours ago I wanted to do some studying before going to sleep. I said to myself, I might study all night for I have done that many times. I was so desiring to receive something from God. (I write these notes at times in my messages, for my own remembrance and not so much for anyone else who might ever read this.) I have been studying on the seals, trumpets, and especially on the thunders lately. But I was not really getting any understanding other than things I had seen in the past. Somehow I knew this was not sufficient and that I was missing something vital to understanding these things.

After a good while of reading all of a sudden God opened my understanding to that open door. When I went back into the gospels and checked this out I saw that it was most certainly the truth. When I went back to Revelation and looked at it, the Spirit of joy from God came upon me and I began worshipping and praising Him in tongues. It finally gave place to shouting and laughing in the Spirit. This was a wonderful blessing for me. As I read more I began to see some things I had missed before. After a while I felt I needed to come back to my computer and write some of this tonight, for I was afraid I would not have the anointing for it if I slept on it.

Now I know well that this will be disputed and rejected by most everyone. But if you can show me something other than this and prove it with written Scripture, please do so. I have searched for these answers for many, many long years. I don’t think someone who just reads a little here and there is ever going to receive these deep mysteries. I KNOW that what I am about to write is the TRUTH, for I know the voice of my God and I know when He reveals things to me. Those of you who know me personally know that I will not teach anything until I am sure God has given me the truth. It is a dangerous thing to teach lies against God’s Word. I have had people ask me to teach on these things many times. But I have always told them I am not ready to teach this yet for there is still too much I do not have. And of course there is still much I do not have. But I am not going to lose this as I have some other things God gave me and I put off writing it for I knew I needed more. But then I forgot what it was that I did have. So now I will attempt to show you some of what God gave to me tonight. I know He will give the rest in His time and as I can receive it.

One thing I have come to understand full well is that nothing in the Scripture is how it seems to our natural minds. The natural mind cannot receive the things of God. It takes being in the Spirit or spiritual mind to receive the truth of God. Men’s natural minds have taken it all and turned it around backwards. Nothing in the Word is really as men have taught it, for they sought it in their carnal minds. The only way to find truth and know it is right is find the answers in the Word of God. God’s Word is about spiritual things not natural things. It is about God’s working and not man’s working. The reason for so much lies is because men look around them at natural events and try to fit that into the Word. It will never fit.

Now I will just tell you this for now and will go back later and give full proof of this. Thunder in the Scripture is the voice of God. The trumpets is the voice of Jesus. Also both of their voices are spoken by many people or waters. I intend to write a series of messages as God gives me understanding, on these things in Revelation. Now: Re 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

Now I know that everyone thinks that John the disciple wrote this Book of Revelation. But that is just not taught in Scripture. I have written a message already solidly proving with the Word that John the Baptist wrote this Book. John the Baptist is the man sent from God to bear witness of Jesus and to prepare the way for him. John the Baptist is the one who bore record of Jesus. So this is the voice of John the Baptist saying these words. John saw that open door. So what was that open door?

Mt 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Mt 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mr 1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. Mr 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: Mr 1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

These verses clearly prove that when John baptized Jesus he saw the heavens opened. God had given John the sign of how he would know the one he was sent to bear witness of. John did not know who the the Son of God was until this baptism. This also proves that this is the John who wrote the Revelation, for that is the one who bore record of the Son of God. This is that open door in heaven. It happened at the baptism of Jesus, which is where Jesus started his ministry. Jesus himself was the door, so this door being opened also signifies that Jesus is now being ‘opened?up to start teaching the Word which God had given to him. Up until this time Jesus did not have the Spirit of God and was not able to minister. He had to be thirty years old to start his ministry, for that is the requirement of the law. He was made under the law. The voice of God spoke from heaven and bore witness that this was his beloved Son, to announce the onset of Jesus?ministry. This was the first thunder of the seven thunders of Revelation. I will show that to you.

Re 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Now back to verse one: John heard a voice as of a trumpet talking to him. It said, Come up hither and I will show you things which must be hereafter. So what was that ‘trumpet?speaking to John?

Re 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Re 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.)

Now let’s examine the above verse carefully. Let’s take in ALL of this, and not leave parts of it out to suit some false teaching. This Book of Revelation (indeed all of the Word) is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. But notice it said God gave this revelation of Jesus Christ to Jesus Christ. He gave this revelation to Jesus to show it unto his servants and he, Jesus, sent and showed it to John. Jesus was a human man. He did NOT have a ‘supernatural?mind as everyone thinks. He had a regular human mind. So without a revelation from God, the revelation of Scripture to Jesus, He himself would never have known who he was and what his purpose was nor how to perform this purpose. So it took a revelation from God to Jesus for Jesus to know who Jesus was! Then John bare record of the Word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and everything he saw. So keep this in mind that John is telling all things that he saw. He was being showed this by God and Jesus. God showed or gave it to Jesus.

Now let’s prove that this trumpet speaking to John was Jesus: Re 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Re 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Re 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Now see that it was John who said I was in the Spirit. Then he heard a great voice as of a trumpet. This trumpet voice said I am Alpha and Omega. See then that this was Jesus revealing Jesus to John.

Now back to chapter four: Re 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Re 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.

Now see that John said I was in the spirit both times here and heard this trumpet voice. This happened at the time he baptized Jesus! See when that door was opened in heaven was when he baptized Jesus. When he baptized Jesus heaven was opened and they heard the voice of God proclaiming that Jesus was his Son. When he said, come up hither, is when and how John was caught up in the Spirit. Ezekiel also described seeing visions of God as being caught up in the Spirit.

Now John and Jesus both saw this vision. They are both giving this Revelation. Jesus reveals it to John by his Angel and John writes it down for us to read. But remember this is all the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him, Jesus.

Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

John 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

These verses show that the trumpet voice was to show his people their sins. See that Jesus said the world hated him because he testified of it that their works were evil. So he was lifting up his voice as a trumpet. Also John was lifting up his voice as a trumpet. They were trumpet voices. See also that receiving his testimony has something to do with this seal. And then it shows that God gave the Spirit without measure to Jesus. God gave Jesus his spirit there at his baptism.

So what did John see while he was in the Spirit? He saw the time when Jesus was ascended into heaven and was sitting on the throne of God. Now realize that it did not take place right then. It was only in visions which John was seeing. He was writing of things yet to be, at the time he and Jesus were in the water. So the word now moves forward to after the time Jesus has ascended into heaven. This scene now being described is that time after Jesus went to his Father in heaven.

He then describes Jesus in his glorified state and the 24 elders around the throne. Of course these elders would be the leaders or heads of the people of God both from the OT and the NT. It was the twelve patriarchs and the twelve apostles. They are also shown in their glorified state, for this happens after the resurrection of Jesus.

Re 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. This is the first thunder. Here God speaks and gives Jesus his commission to be our God. This is recorded in Hebrews one. If you read that you will see part of this message of the first thunder. I wrote a marvelous message, called The Transference of Power. If you have not read that message, you really should read it in connection with this message, for that transference of God’s power to Jesus is what is taking place here in this fourth chapter of Revelation. This then is the message of the first THUNDER. It is setting Jesus up as our God to rule and reign in all of God’s power. Jesus said all power in heaven and earth is GIVEN to me. This right here is where that took place. It started with the baptism of Jesus and ends after he has been fully established, by his Father, God, to be our God and our Father. God told all his angels and all of us to worship his Son and honour his Son even as we honour Him. This is the message of the FIRST THUNDER.

The seven lamps of fire burning there were the seven spirits of God which were the angels over the seven churches. So here those seven churches were prophesied by God. That is also part of the first thunder’s message. It brought in the churches. Next the crystal sea and the four beasts full of eyes were brought before the throne. This is the mature Christians in their glorified state. All of this, the church and the maturing of the Christians came from that first thunder. The conclusion of this scene is that Jesus has now been established to sit upon the throne of God in heaven at God’s right hand and all the people of God from all ages are now falling down before the throne and giving praise, honour and worship to the New King of Kings, Jesus Christ! MY, What a glorious sight!

Re 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. (At this time only God is sitting on the throne; Jesus has not been placed there yet.) Now what is the book? Why is it written within and on the backside? This is still at the scene in Heaven as God is setting Jesus up to rule. This is still part of the first thunder.

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (This is Jesus speaking, not God.)

Heb 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Heb 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (See his body was the book. So everything he did in his body was ‘written?in his book.)

Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Ps. 45:1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my TONGUE IS THE PEN of a ready writer.

Isa 29:9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. Isa 29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

Here God is pronouncing to the OT covenant folks that they have been given the spirit of deep sleep for he has closed their eyes, the prophets and their rulers, the seers had been covered, or left blind. This means they could not ‘see?or understand the truth in Jesus. Jesus was a sealed book to them. Then it speaks of the NT Christians who were drunken on the Spirit and staggering in the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. See all of this was sealed up to those blinded OT leaders.

Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: Isa 29:12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. - See NONE of them, No one besides Jesus could open that Book.

See here that the vision of it all had become to them as the words of a BOOK that is sealed. Their blindness of heart caused the book to be sealed up to them. They delivered the book to the learned ones of their day, but they could read it for it was sealed to them. Then they took the book to one who was not learned, but he could not read it for he had not learned. So the entire group of old law people were in blindness and could not ‘read?or understand that Book standing there talking to them, JESUS. He was ‘sealed?to them.

Also God said -De 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

So God had placed HIS Words into Jesus. So the Word of God was sealed up in Jesus. Only Jesus could open this word up and reveal it so we could ‘eat?of the Word and find life.

Now the Holy Ghost is the Seal of God. It is the thing which protects us and keeps us. It is the Mark of God. God set his Seal or Mark in the foreheads of his true servants. So when Jesus received the Holy Ghost there at his baptism, this was when God set His Seal or Mark upon Jesus. Jesus began opening that Book there when He began his ministry. That open door in heaven began the Book being opened to the world. He had sealed the Word to Jesus and now he seals the Spirit to Jesus. Since seven means completion with God, there were seven seals. This showed that Jesus was completely finished being sealed and preserved by God. This was completed when he was obedient even to the death of the cross.

So then we find that Jesus Christ is the ONLY one who prevailed and was worthy to open these seals and open the word of God up to the World. But to those whom had blinded themselves with hardness of heart, they would never be able to ‘READ?or Eat that Word. It was sealed up to them. It was opened up to the true Christians who had ears to ‘hear? Praise my God for Jesus!

Daniel was told to seal up the words of his prophecy. So the Word was sealed up to the OT people. They had ears but could not hear. They had eyes but could not see, so the Word was sealed up to them. The thunders in Revelation were sealed up and not written. But that was happening down through time. Notice this: Re 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

See then that it was NOT the Book of the Revelation which was sealed up. It was the Word up unto the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Jesus OPENED the Book up to the disciples. “Then opened he their understanding.?The Book was still sealed in the hands of God until such time as Jesus resurrected and was given all power in heaven and earth. This was when he sat down on the right hand of God. He had taken that Book out of God’s hands and now he opened those seals and revealed the Truth to US, his People.

Zec 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. Zec 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Now see that this prophecies of Jesus and His Disciples. They are the ‘wonder?Joel spoke of. They are men wondered at. See it is speaking of bringing in the NT Covenant and salvation here. But all of this was SEALED up to those blinded law people. The STONE with those seven eyes, or seven spirits of God, was JESUS. It is the same as the BOOK. See that God said I will ENGRAVE the graving on it and will remove the iniquity of THAT land in one day. This engraving is the very same as his TONGUE being the PEN of a ready writer. He wrote the Word of God onto that STONE or in that BOOK, which was JESUS. But this book was sealed up to those blinded law people. It is sealed up right now to the blinded ‘church?people. For it is the very same old blindness. The day God removed their iniquity is the Day Jesus died for our sins. That day he cleansed the entire world. But those blinded ones who rejected it, did not receive the benefit of this cleansing, for they rejected it. They rejected the council of God against themselves. In doing so, those ‘seals?will never be broken off to them. They are only broken off to those of us who can ‘see?and ‘hear?what the Spirit is saying from the BOOK.

(part 2)

Now all of the above must be placed together in order to understand what that sealed book was. It was JESUS. God’s tongues is the PEN which does this writing. Each one of us is a ‘book?which is being ‘written?every day. Our every thought and word and act is written in our ‘book? At the judgment all those ‘books?will be opened and we be judged by the things written in our ‘book?or life. See that God said he would ‘write?his laws into their hearts. So his laws were written in the ?U>book?which was Jesus. Every day the things Jesus said, did and thought were ‘written?in his Book. So at the end of his life he could say, In the volume of the book it is written of me. So he did God’s will always and this is what was written in his book or life. He came to do God’s will and not his own will. He came to take away that first, or law covenant and bring in the New Covenant of Grace. That was his whole purpose. He was our only hope of salvation. If he had failed there would have been no salvation for anyone. (And that is why I sit here tonight writing of His glory instead of sleeping.)

So then until his life was completed, and he was in Heaven seated upon the throne of God, no salvation was opened for anyone. I wrote a wonderful message called, The Two Edged Sword. In that message it was explained how God wrote on the stones for Moses. Then he had to go back up a second time with stones he had hewn out himself. Then God wrote on them again. This showed two things. Adam was the first Son of God. He was glorified at first, then lost this because of his sin. God then clothed him in human flesh and he lost his glory. He was ‘written?on the front side and then the inside. He had glory first then darkness. The front side shows that law. The backside shows Grace. Jesus was written on the inside and then the backside. He was human first, then glorified. He was not written on the front side for this is law. So Jesus is this book which was written within and on the backside. But this book was sealed up. Unless it was opened up there would be no salvation for us. Only Jesus could open those seals. He had to go the whole way alone. No one else could help him. He had to be willing to please only God in his life and he had to die for our sins. If he had not gone all the way those seals would not have been opened and we would all be lost.

Remember it was said in the OT that one took the book to one who was learned and asked him to read the book. He said I cannot read it for it is sealed. Then they took the book to someone who was not learned and asked them to read the book. He said I cannot for I am unlearned. See, no one could open that book and read it except Jesus, the slain Lamb of God. See then that it took his DEATH to qualify him to open the book. It could not be opened until it was finished and completely satisfactory to God.

Re 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Re 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Notice the angel said the Lion of Juda hath prevailed to open the book and to loose the seals. But when John looked it was a Lamb he saw, a slain Lamb. Now why is this? Because He had to be killed for our sins before he was worthy to open those seals. It had to be completed. It had to be finished. He could not have opened the Book until it was finished, else how could it be proven that He had paid the price for our sins and therefore been counted worthy to set upon the throne of God as Our God? But see after this happened and he ascended to Heaven, then he is now the Lion and not the Lamb. But he had to be the Lamb FIRST.

Re 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

Re 10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Jer 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Eze 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. Eze 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. Eze 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Both Jer. and Eze. were types of Jesus eating the Book. They showed that Jesus is the one who took the book and ate it. Then they spoke the Word to the people. It was sweet as honey in His mouth, but at Calvary it made his belly bitter. Jesus is the one who took that open book and ate it up. He was doing this all the days of his life. He was eating the Word of God as God put his words in Jesus?mouth.

Now there is where Jesus took over the rulership of this world. When He took that book out of God’s hand, it shows that now all the power in heaven and earth has been passed into Jesus?hands. He is now ready to begin ruling and reigning until he brings all enemies under his feet. (Those of you who think that one already sitting on the throne was Jesus, then please explain to me who went and took the book out of his hand?) Watch what happens next:

Re 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Re 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Re 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Notice the elders and the four beasts began a new song. This is worship to the ‘new?King, the High Priest, and our God, Jesus Christ. He is now Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is now our Heavenly Father. He is now our God. He has prevailed to open the Book and to be seated upon the throne of His Father, God. GLORY! Notice that all those saved people proclaimed that now we shall reign on the EARTH. But see that Jesus is reigning in Heaven.

Re 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Re 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. (Notice he was slain BEFORE he received this power, riches (he was poor in life), and wisdom, strength and glory.)

Re 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Re 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

You must learn to rightly divide the Word to see any truth. Now go back to chapter four and look at this: Re 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Re 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Now most people think this is saying they were worshipping Jesus and this means that Jesus was the one who created all things. But see, Jesus had NOT been set up on the throne at that time. So they were still worshipping God the Father.

So this concludes the Ceremony in Heaven as the Lamb of God goes up to God sitting on His throne and takes the Book, the finished Book of Jesus?life, out of the hand’s of God and is given the power now to rule and reign as God with God.

Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Now see that is the words God said at the time Jesus walked up and took the Book out of his hands. When God brought the firstbegotten into the world, was at the resurrection. Angels were not told to worship Jesus while he lived on earth in mortal flesh. He told all the angels of God to worship Jesus. He called Jesus God and himself God to Jesus. See also that it says here that God anointed Jesus, which agrees with Acts 10, where Peter said that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power. This is where the power was completely placed into Jesus?hands to rule as God.

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? See that God never at any time set an angel at his right hand to rule until all his enemies are made his footstool.

Now this concludes the setting up of Jesus to rule as God. This concludes the message of the first Thunder. It began at the baptism of Jesus by John, for this was where he started his ministry as God’s Son. It goes all the way through Jesus?life and on until he is resurrected and caught up into Heaven. It finishes when Jesus has taken the Book of power or his life out of God’s hands and this placed all the power of heaven and earth into Jesus?hands. I believe this began God’s Seventh Day. I believe this is when God rested, for now He had placed the power into the hands of His Son to rule. It began the Day of the Lord, or judgment upon the OT. He brought their judgment then and shut them off. But it was the beginning of the Week for the Church. It was their First Day. It was the last or seventh day for the OT. But it was the First Day of the NT. Jesus said I am the beginning and the ending. He ended their age and started the NT age.

If you try to read the Word of God, any of it, and think that it is set down in an exact chronological order you will miss the truth. It is not set down in a chronological order of events. Many places it will speak of one subject matter and take that subject down through time till the end of it. Then it will switch right back to the beginning of the time and pick up on another subject and take it down through time. It will speak of the birth of a son and switch immediately to the end of that person’s life and then go right back to the time of the birth of that person. For instance, in Rev. 1:7, he switches in the middle of conversation to the coming of Jesus with clouds and then picks back up with what he was saying. Now if you see this as ‘chronological?you will have to place the coming in the clouds right here. This is the kind of reasoning men have handled the Word of God with.

Lu 3:18 And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.

Lu 3:19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done, Lu 3:20 Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.

Lu 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, Lu 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Lu 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,

Now I wrote the above to show you an example of this thing. See that in verse 19 it moved down and told something of John being put into prison. Then it switched right back to the baptism of Jesus, but you know that John was not shut up in prison at that time. Notice here that it makes it clear that it was the Holy Ghost which came down upon Jesus in a bodily shape like a dove. This proves that Jesus did not have the Holy Ghost until this time and that he was about thirty years old at this time. This alone proves that Jesus was not God. This is why nothing is told of Jesus?life until he was baptized, except of his birth, the time he was twelve, (showing that even as a child Jesus was living for God) and it tells that he went and was subject or obedient to his parents, as the Word commands. So Jesus?life in the natural, before his ministry started at his baptism, is not told about, for it was not his work as the Son of God. It was his natural life. Jesus did no miracles or taught the people before he was anointed with the Holy Ghost and power at his baptism.

When God himself speaks it is said to thunder. God gives his word to angels, then the angels carry it to messengers on earth to proclaim the Word spoken by God. Most of the time when it speaks of the thunder it also brings in the lightning and voices. Many times it also includes the earthquakes. These are not natural events on earth. They are spiritual and must be understood spiritually. If you try to place these things as natural, weather evens, you will miss the entire meaning. You must find these things in the Scripture. Now to show you this:

Ex 19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. Ex 19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. 19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

This is the usual order the things of God are given out. The thunder is God speaking. The trumpet is that word being picked up by the earthly messengers and going forth. The lightning is the understanding or light which comes from the Word. God announces all the major events himself. These are the seven thunders in Revelation. Ex 20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

God talked with the people from heaven. When Jesus was baptized the heaven opened up and that voice spoke from heaven. It is the very same voice of God. This voice always brings enlightenment or the lightnings. Then the voices who receive the message speaks it on earth. When it is a fearful event it is said to bring earthquakes. This is the people trembling in fear, as those Israelites did there at Mt. Sinai.

John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. 12:30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

See here the voice of God spoke to Jesus from heaven again. The people which heard it said that it thundered.

Ps 77:16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. 77:17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. Ps 77:18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook

The waters are the people. They saw God and were afraid. The clouds are the people. This was the disciples who had the river of life flowing out of them. Arrows are the words which bring judgment and punishment. When God sent out his word in the heaven, it lightened the world or gave them light. (understanding).

Ps 81:7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

You need to read all of Psm. 18. It tells of the death of Jesus and his stay in hell, his deliverance, then how he goes on to destroy all his enemies and bring everything under subjection to him. (All of this is that first thunder in Rev.)

Ps 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

Ps 18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. 18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

The above is telling of how God heard Jesus?cry unto him out of hell and became angry at how his Son had to die. The earth shaking and this is the earthquakes and storms which occurred at the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Ps 18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. 18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. 18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. Ps 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

See that the hail stones and coals of fire was this voice of God. The foundations of the world was the removing of that old covenant to set up the new covenant. Verse 16 is the resurrection and God taking a people out of the world to be his. he delivered Jesus from death and hell.

Ps 18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Ps 18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

That is speaking of when God set Jesus up on high and rewarded him for his obedience to God. This was when God set Jesus up to rule with God and gave him all power in Heaven and earth.

Ps 18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. Ps 18:43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. Ps 18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me

These verses prove that this is about Jesus and not David, as most people think. It speaks of the judgment ministry of destroying the wicked off this earth. You will see that fulfilled in those seals and trumpets. It also speaks of those of us who hear him and submit to him. HE is the head of the heathen, not David. This people who had not known him and now serves him is the Gentiles who became Christians.

Ps 29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

Job 37:2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. 37:3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. Job 37:4 After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. Job 37:5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. Job 37:6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. Job 37:7 He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

Now all of this proves that God is speaking in the ‘thunder? He sends out his word and brings forth everything. After he thunders a voice roars. This is the men who receive His message and give it out in the earth to others. All of the happenings in Revelation and indeed the entire word and world come about by the thundering of God. He commands a thing to be. Then the angels pick it up and take it to Jesus who in turn gives it to his ministers. This is called the lightening. It enlightens the earth by revealing the truth of God. The true ministers receive these messages and preach it to others. If it is a word for judgment then the people fear and the ‘earthquakes?happen. Those events out in nature are only a natural showing. The true thing happens in the spiritual world. It is spiritual. Only those who are spiritual will ever discern this and know it. The others will always be looking at natural events and trying to interpret the Word from these things. But they will never find the truth this way. So in this message I have given you the first thunder and that open door. I will attempt to get into some of the other thunders as God reveals it to me.

AMEN!

I found this first part of 'The Open Door'. I will send it back to the front page so anyone who wishes to read this entire message, both parts, together, will have it. I also want to see if it is on the General board. If it is, I will copy it onto a special board and it will stay in easy access that way.

This is a very great message to open up some of the mysteries of the Word. It will do you good to study this. I read it today and received some more revelation on this. I saw that Jesus had to go to the judgment, just as we do.

In Rev. 4, when he goes up to the throne of God, and the Book is opened, that is showing the life of Jesus being opened up for judgment.

He had to 'pass inspection' just the same as we will. His entire life was written in that 'book' , for it was the record of his life, written inside himself.

Those books which are opened at our judgment is the book of our life. Also the books of the Scripture is opened at the same time. We will be judged by His Book to see if our 'book' matches.

If not, away you go into everlasting destruction.

After Jesus passed, he was set up as our God, to rule on the throne of God, until he returns to earth and sets up his own throne here after Adam, Satan, is put into hell fire.

Dear Freeborn,
I was looking at this site and look what this preacher predicted for 2007. Strange? Tweety

The year of 2007 will have some very serious catastrophes.

There will be some things happening that the world will not know how to handle.

But you may rest in Me, saith the Lord, because the manifestation of My glory will be so great in the year 2007, and [there will be] such overflowing revival throughout this nation and around the world that you’re hardly even going to notice the natural catastrophes that happen. And the things that the devil is trying to do will get caught up in the swell and the explosive power of My Spirit being manifest, saith the Lord. Hallelujah.

2007 will be known as The Year of the Open Door.

My Word states in Revelation chapter three that I open doors no man can shut. I shut doors no man can open. There are those of you who over the years have set out with commitment and resolve to do things that I have assigned you to do, and over a period of time it looked like the devil just slammed the door in your face. Some because of catastrophic things happening in your family, others because of sickness and disease that

has attacked, and others because of financial disasters and just plain ol?not enough money to get it done, that the devil was able, as I said, to just slam the door in your face. But you hear Me now, saith the Lord, I am opening your door! I

am opening your door! I am opening your door, and in 2007 neither the devil nor anybody else will be able to close it on you!

Don’t quit! Don’t give up! The kingdom of

heaven is at hand. Don’t give up on this nation.

Don’t give up on your church. Don’t give up! Don’t

quit! Don’t stop! 2007 is the year of doors open

and held open. Go through them with great faith

and stay on the Word! Stay on the Word! Stay on

the Word! You stay with Me, I’ll stay with you, and

together we will see victory beyond anything you

or anybody else has ever seen before! Hallelujah.

Oh, hallelujah. Glory, glory, glory.

And by that same token, saith the Lord, there

are certain doors that the devil has been holding

open—doors of war, doors of destruction, doors

of all kinds of disobedience and blaspheming lies

and tongues. Well, I’ll tell you, in 2007 you and I

together are going to slam the door on him. We

are going to slam it in his face. We are going to

walk on him and you are going to find out what I

meant in My Word when I said set your feet on

him and walk on him. He has been put under your

feet. He is becoming the footstool that I said he

would be. And now is our time, saith the Lord.

Hallelujah. Yes. Bless the Lord.

Hi Tweety,

I do not put any 'stock' in his words. It is man's own pride, trying to lift himeself up. I have heard these kinds of men, pretending to prophecy. It is fake as can be.

He has no revelation of the open door. That open door is Jesus. It was opened when Jesus was baptized in water by John the Baptist.

and i grant you, if this man read my message, he would deny it.

They all think that open door is the rapture of the naked 7th church.

No Scripture teaches this lie.
