[Part 2] Now back to the FRUIT. 1Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. See then that when Christ was resurrected he was the FIRSTFRUITS. Afterward we that belong to Christ will be brought forth in his likeness and therefore also be fruit on this tree of life. Fruit is the product or offspring one bears. A woman bears children. These children are called her fruit. A tree bears fruit. So this tree of life bears children who have received ETERNAL LIFE. This is that glorified body. So the fruit on this tree of Life is all those who have been given these glorified eternal bodies. Remember our study on the numbers. Twelve does not mean 12. It is not a numeral. It shows that teaching and learning family of oxen or God’s children. So all of God’s true children are the fruit on this tree of LIFE, for they alone have this LIFE. So this tree, Christ being the Vine, the Apostles the branches, has brought forth her fruit, or those who acquired these eternal houses, not made with hands. It is our glorified bodies. Now you have the hands you need. You have the feet you need. Your Spirit has found an everlasting resting place. It is no longer subject to this house of prison we dwelt in on earth. It is now free, not bound to earth, or dust, any longer. This body of LIFE does not have death working in our members. It is full of life. 1Cor 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 1co 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 1co 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 1co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 1co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 1co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 1co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. (This image is the glorified body, or eternal life, the fruit on the tree of Life. This is the children or fruit which this tree of life bore. It started at the roots, Jesus Christ, and grew on up through the Apostles, into the full grown tree, with all the fruit on it. It will last eternally. The fruit on this tree will never wilt, fade, wither and drop off or die. It will last eternally, so she bears this fruit continually, or each month. As more children of God come forth, and are placed on this tree of life, there is more and more fruit, coming on each month. It is most glorious indeed. Let us be glad and rejoice in this which Christ has born to God, eternal children. 1Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. The dead shall be raised INCORRUPTIBLE. So this resurrection is eternal life. (See, no need to hunt some natural tree to eat a piece of natural fruit. We, the eternal glorified children of God, are the fruit on the tree. We are part of this eternal Tree of Life. Mortal must put on IMMORTALITY. Immortality means it can never die, so it is now eternal life. Mortal is swallowed up of immortality. This is how we acquire eternal life, not eating some natural piece of fruit! It is partaking of this tree by becoming immortal as the marriage takes place. This is as our earthly, weak bodies put on the heavenly, eternal body. We become ONE. Thus we are fruit the tree of LIFE bore. Christ who is our LIFE?/FONT> Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. See, Jesus came forth in glory at his resurrection, being the FIRSTFRUITS ON THIS TREE OF LIFE. Then we shall appear with him in this same glory. Jesus did not go hunt up some earthly, natural tree, and pluck and eat a piece of fruit in order to have this glory. It was given to him as his reward for his perfect life. It will be given to us also. It is his gift to us. We will be given this same glory, or eternal life. (Who needs some natural fruit?). Let me show you a little more here on the FRUIT. Mt 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Mt 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: Mt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Mt 3:10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mt 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Now what was John speaking of? Is he saying that a natural ax is going to cut down all natural ‘trees?which are not bearing fruit? Are all of those ‘tree’s going to be cast into His fire? What were the FRUITS he spoke of as being meet for repentance? Apples? What would that have to do with repenting? All of those people were considered to be ‘trees? But their fruit, or spiritual ‘child? inside them, was corrupt. If you live a corrupt life, you are in a corrupt kingdom, that of Satan, and you will bring forth corrupt fruit, or your own life. This will be cast into the unquenchable fire and burnt up. This is that fire with which he will baptize his second witness, for the very purpose of bringing this judgment against that whore church. Her fruit will be brunt up. This was the serpents of the world. They bore corrupt fruit, or lives. See that even though they claimed Abraham for a father, John agreed with Jesus and called them vipers. Their corrupt fruit will be destroyed. They will never have eternal life. Now for proof that the FRUIT is our children: Lu 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: Lu 1:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. See that Elisabeth called Mary’s son the FRUIT of her womb. There is much more I could add to this, but in order to cut it a bit shorter I will leave some of this out. Do some studying on FRUIT for your own self, and you will be amazed at how the carnal, money-hungry preachers have distorted all of this glory. Now here is proof that our fruit is also how we live: Lu 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Lu 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. Lu 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. See here that he is calling these men, trees? He is speaking of their lives and how they live and obey God as to the kind of FRUIT they bear. See he said a good man brings forth that which is good, proving he is calling the man a tree and what is in his heart as his fruit. Now for solid proof that we are a branch in the tree of the Lord and our fruit is our own natural life or obedience to God. John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Now don’t you see from the above verses, that the branch is in Christ? The branch bears fruit. So the fruit is on this TREE, WHICH IS CHRIST. This tree is the tree of life. The fruit on this tree is the fruit on this tree of LIFE. Jesus said as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to me to have LIFE in myself. If we abide in him, he gives us this LIFE. This is life eternal. We must abide in him and he abide in us, in order to bear or produce this fruit unto eternal life. If a branch gets into Christ and does not bear this fruit, he cuts it off and it is cast into the FIRE. So then the sword with which he cuts these unfruitful branches off is that FLAMING SWORD which turns every way to keep the way of the TREE OF LIFE. So then what is that flaming sword? It is the two-edged sword. It is the Word of God, which Christ puts into our mouths, who have the truth and are called to teach the pure word to the world to cause them to bear FRUIT unto eternal life. This Word is the sword. It will prune you to bear more fruit, or to be fruitful, bearing 100 fold. The least he accepts is 30 fold. If you do not come up to 30 fold, he will then use that flaming sword to cut you off the tree and burn up your works or fruit. The flaming sword was placed into the hands of the Apostles of Christ. They brought the world the truth of Grace for the first time, thus leading the way BACK to that Tree of Life. It was turning every way, cutting off dead branches and false doctrine, so that the children of God could find the way back to that Tree of Life. Only the truth of the Word will take one back to that tree of life. So those to whom God gives His truth, he has placed that flaming sword into their hands and mouth. The witnesses have fire coming out of the MOUTH, with which to destroy all who hurt them. False teachers can sense when that flaming sword is in their midst. They become very nervous and resentful and begin to cast the true brethren out, as Jesus told us they will do. They cast our name out as evil, and attempt to lead all others away from us. They did this to the Apostles and now to those of us who have this truth again. God has given us that flaming sword again. It is cutting off the dead branches and pruning those who are bearing some fruit. We need to bear at least 30 fold fruit. I have often prayed for help to bear 100 fold. I do not wish to come up with less. I want to go all the way with my God and learn all his truth. I will not draw back to perdition. I will not shy away from preaching the whole counsel of God. I will not water down the Word or gospel to suit those who do not wish to bear fruit. I will be diligent to try to help those who are trying to learn and bear fruit. Else you will never have that eternal life body, or EAT OF THAT TREE OF LIFE. Jesus said except you EAT my flesh and DRINK my blood, you have no LIFE in you. So his flesh and blood is this tree of life. He is this vine. His word is the tree on which you must live to bear fruit. It must match the Word to be acceptable fruit. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. See that Jesus chose us to go and bring forth fruit. So what does it mean, to go and bring forth fruit? It was telling the true ministers to go out into the world and bring people into Christ, and teach them the true Word, so they can bear fruit and be children of God on that Tree of Life. He wants this FRUIT to remain. John said look to yourselves that we loose not our reward. He was telling his converts to stay with God so they would be his fruit on that Tree. They would be the CHILDREN he bore to God. This was the very same kind of offering Abel was bringing to God. It was the sheep of God which he fathered in the Word and taught them the truth, so they could bear fruit and become fruit on that Tree of Life. My, what a beautiful message! Now for more proof that this fruit is our children: Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; Ac 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Ac 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. So Christ is considered to be the fruit of David’s loins. See also that sitting on his throne speaks of after his resurrection. Jesus did not sit on any throne or bear any government on his shoulders in his earthly life. That earthly man was not this anointed Emmanuel. It was his fruit, or Holy Child, the inner man. Now here is proof that Paul considered his converts to be his fruit, or spiritual children: Rom 1:13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. 1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. Ro 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. See here that he called the gospel of Christ the power of God unto salvation. So this salvation is the tree of Life. Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. Ro 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. Ro 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Now see that the above shows us that the corrupt fruit of a sinful life ends in death. So the corrupt fruit causes your tree to be cut off and burned. That is eternal death. Those who are made free from sin have fruit unto holiness and the end of this is EVERLASTING LIFE, OR THE TREE OF LIFE. Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Ro 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Now the above is powerful and proves again that corrupt fruit, which is by the LAW, brings forth fruit unto DEATH. But see we are delivered from the law so we serve God in newness of spirit and bring forth fruit unto eternal life. Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. This shows that the first fruits of the Spirit is connected with the redemption of our body. This is how and when we receive that glorified body, or eternal life = fruit on the tree of life. Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. (The root was Christ; the branches were the disciples. So if the root be holy, then the branches are also holy. We, the branches are holy, as he is holy.) Ro 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Ro 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Ro 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. Ro 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: Ro 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Ro 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. See that this is showing that Christ is an Olive Tree. He is the first fruits, as we have already shown. So if this first fruit is holy, then the branches in this tree will also be holy. He pruned out dead branches which were not producing fruit and warned all the other branches that they too will be cut off if they do not continue in his goodness. The is what I have already proven to you. That flaming sword will cut those unfruitful branches off the tree and cast them into the fire and this is death. Your corrupt fruit brought forth death. Rom 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. See that these Christians were called the first fruits of Achaia unto Christ. So this proves again that the saints or children of God are the Fruit on this tree of Life. Now for another verse with this same proof: 1Cor 16:15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) Again the Christians were called the first fruits. They are being placed onto the Tree of Life by the ministry of the Apostles, who are branches in the Tree. James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. [This shows again that the children of God are the first fruits.] We are the fruit on this tree of Life. Here is another verse proving that without the right fruit, one will be lost: Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Now this one is very important in proving the truth of this message, that the saints are the first fruits on this tree of life: Re 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. Re 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God See that they were redeemed and were the first fruits unto God and the Lamb. Now I already proved that the Christians in the first age of Church were these first fruits. So all of these children of God are those twelve fruits on the Tree of Life. It is twelve, because this word originally meant to double, or repeat. This is the repeating of bringing forth first fruits unto God. It is an on-going thing. It is continual, or every month. Now for the crowning Jewell of this message: Re 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Re 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. So now the river of water of life is no different from the Tree of Life. This Holy Spirit he gave us is in us a river of life, a well of water springing up into EVERLASTING LIFE. Can you doubt this now? We, the people of God are the FRUIT ON THIS TREE. There was no healing for the OT Covenant. The Sun of righteousness arose with HEALING in his wings. This healing was a gift given to the true children of God. These Christians believers were the one who had the power to heal. So they are manifested as children of God as they went about healing all manner of sickness and diseases. They are the leaves of this tree of Life, going about healing the land and the nations. What more proof would one need? So now let no one ever tell you that this tree of life or her fruit is an earthly, natural tree which one must find and eat some of natural fruit in order to have eternal life. Nothing of this sort is taught in the Word of God. Jesus and the Apostles interpreted this TREE OF LIFE for us. I have now brought forth the same revelation and truth for anyone who can and will HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD. By: Jo Smith June 4, 2007 |
