~~ Life is in the Blood ~~

Lev 17:10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Le 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Le 17:12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

Le 17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

Le 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

I realized an astonishing thing just now as I read the above Scripture. Do you see from this why those people had such a horrifying reaction to Jesus telling them they must DRINK HIS BLOOD in order to have life? Do you see from this that God had told them that every person who eats of blood would be cut off? God condemned to death anyone who ate of the blood. So now can you imagine how they felt hearing this man tell them that they must not only eat his flesh, but also to DRINK HIS BLOOD? Knowing this, it is a miracle that even one disciple was left near Jesus! They all knew this commandment not to drink or eat of the blood. So those disciple who stayed with Jesus and asked to be taught about this truly had to have something powerful from God inside them.

See God had told them not to ever eat of the blood of any animal, for the life of all flesh is in the blood. You must try to think spiritual to get this. See these Jews knew that God had said, I will set my face against any soul that eateth blood and will cut him off from among his people. It was a death sentence! Glory! So there is much more to why those disciples did turn and walk away from Jesus! They thought this man was trying to get them killed! And of course he was.

Except ye eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you. But it is a death sentence! You must die before you can have life. Let us go to Jerusalem and die with him! They had it. You must be dead to that law to be married to Christ. Then you become flesh of his flesh, and bone of his bone. Thus you have of his blood or life inside you.

The life is in the blood. I have given you the blood upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. If they caught an animal they must even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

See the life is in that blood. Jesus?life was covered up with this dust body. So they had to cover that blood with dust to show that the only blood which could ever truly make an atonement for them was hidden under that dust body of human flesh. But the thing is, it was not the actual blood, but the life in that blood. Here we must see this spiritual. That life was hidden in the Word of God. So his blood that we drink is not the actual blood which was shed upon the ground. His life was in that blood, but we drink a spiritual blood. It carries with it the life of Jesus. This is how we become one with him, of his own body. This is a deep subject, and it is something I have never thought on before, so I am praying for the true anointing to get this just As God would have it. It is so deep, I am almost at a loss for words to describe what I am seeing. Lets see another place where God warned them not to eat blood. See this was ingrained into those Jews who were following Jesus UNTIL he told them right the opposite of this:

Deut 12:22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

De 12:23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh. 12:24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water. (This is showing that they never actually took any life into themselves during the OT times.)

De 12:25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD. 12:26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose.

De 12:27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh. De 12:28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.

So they knew this was the only way it would go well with them and their children. Yet Jesus is telling them to do the very thing God said they could not do. Jesus was surely telling us that we must EAT the Word of God to have eternal life. So inside that Word is this BLOOD of Christ which gives us eternal life. Since Jesus had fed upon this Word all his life, this life was hidden inside him under that dust frame of a man.

Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

See, He poured out his soul unto death. They had to pour out the blood of an animal which they killed. He is showing that in everything he fulfilled this to be the cleansing blood for us. About the death sentence for drinking his blood?

Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do MORTIFY the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Col 3:5 MORTIFY therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

1Cor 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I DIE DAILY.

Do you want to live? Then you must die with Him:

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Ro 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Notice something here. It is by BAPTISM that we are placed into this NECESSARY DEATH in order to have the life. So how then say so many that baptism is unnecessary for salvation? See this alone proves that you absolutely must be baptized in order to obtain eternal life. Else how are you going to be placed into the likeness of his death?)

Ro 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Ro 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Ro 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

(There are many things which the human mind cannot really understand. We must accept them by faith that this word is telling us the truth. We must realize that much of these things actually happen in the Spirit world which our natural eye cannot see. But if you deny them, then you call God a lie and deny that He is the giver of life. If God said that our old man, the body of sin, is CRUCIFIED with Christ when we are Baptized, then it does actually take place. It is going on in the spiritual world of the invisible working of God. But it did take place! Else then He lied to us, right? Sure. He said the body of sin is destroyed, and that henceforth, meaning from the time we are baptized, we should not serve sin. This shows that we actually die a spiritual death in the baptism. So how does almost everyone deny that baptism is essential to salvation? See it is their own mind, not the mind of Christ telling them that. If God said by baptism we are crucified, then it means just that. God did not say it is only a type or an outward showing. Some carnal mind, denying what God said, made that up.) It also said that if we are dead, we are freed from sin. So this baptism frees us from sin. We are then clean and holy as he demands us to be. See in drinking his blood I am finding these great secrets in His Word.

So now we have established that we must drink his blood to have his life in us. His life is in his blood. So now we were buried with him, crucified with him, so now we drink his blood and live by him. God requires for us to die if we drink blood. So in order to have eternal life, Jesus told us we have to drink his blood. So we drink his blood and now his life is in us. We died with him that we might live with him. His life is that Word of God. So if we drink his blood, then we must take that Word of God into ourselves. It is all so united together, that it is inseparable.

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

See this offering of Isaac upon the altar was the type of Jesus dying on the altar for us.

Le 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

So Jesus was offered upon the altar to make an atonement for our soul. But instead of pouring out his blood upon the ground, we must DRINK IT. A death sentence. So die with him. If not, you have no life. How can this man give us his blood to drink? Not only are they asking how could this be done, but how could he ask such a thing of us, knowing God will kill us if we do this? Will you die with Him? If so, die to your desire to sit and watch TV, movies, junk, read books, play games, or any other thing which takes up your time and keeps you from READING, SEARCHING, SEEKING AND EATING THE WORD OF GOD. Without it, you have no life in you.
