11Thes. 2:13.  But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Paul here speaks to Christians that they were chosen to salvation through SANCTIFICATION of the Spirit and belief of the TRUTH.

No salvation without Sanctification of the Spirit, which is the Holy Ghost.  This sanctification is NOT GOTTEN BY KEEPING ANY 7TH DAY SABBATH AS SOME SAY.

Neither does it come by keeping any laws.  It comes by believing the TRUTH.  Jesus, the NT is the truth.

 14.  Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here Paul makes it clear that it was his gospel which called them to obtaining glory of Jesus.  It was not by Moses or the OT laws, it was by the NT gospel of Jesus.

 15.  Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Here he tells them to hold to the traditions which they were taught, not by OT laws, but by his WORD [THINGS HE TOLD THEM IN PERSON;   OR BY HIS EPISTLE = HIS WRITTEN WORDS]

See how far people are off this NT teachings?  You can go anywhere in the Book and prove it.

 16.  Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Now take special note of the above verse.  It says we were given everlasting consolation and good hope  THROUGH   GRACE.  NOT THROUGH LAW;  NOT BY KEEPING SABBATH REST;  BUT BY GRACE.

GRACE, GRACE,  GOD'S GRACE

GRACE THAT IS GREATER THAN ALL OUR SIN.

PRAISE GOD.

 17.  Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Romans 2: 12. ~~~~ For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Now that shows that even if one lives without law, and they sin, they will perish.  But if you sin under the law, you will be judged by the law. Either way, the sinner is going to be lost.

BUT UNDER GRACE ....... HIS GRACE IS SUFFIENT

Galatians 5

1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of BONDAGE.

2. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Genesis 6: 5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

sEEMS DAT NOAH WAS THE FIRST TO FIND GRACE

Exodus 33: 12. And Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

Romans 1:5.  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

[It is all over the NT.  Don't even have to 'look' for it;  just open any page and there it is:  GRACE.

.....by whom [Jesus] we received GRACE.

 6.  Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
 7.  To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

GRACE TO YOU. and peace from God.

 8.  First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Your  FAITH is spoken of throughout the world.

THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH.  Without FAITH it is impossible to please God.

So it is saying WITHOUT GRACE you cannot please God.

So you cannot please God by LAW.

Gal. 5:14~~~~~ For ALL the LAW is FULFILLED in ONE word, even in this; Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself.

**** ********* ********* *********

ALL the LAW is FULFILLED in ONE WORD- LOVE.

ALL THE LAW IS FULFILLED IN ONE WORD LOVE ---- LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.

LOVE IS GRACE
