Unto you ... which believe he is precious. I Pet. 2:7

We love him, because he first loved us. I John 4:19

The love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. II Cor. 5:14, 15

Ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. I Thes. 4:9

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12

Above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. I Pet. 4:8

Walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. Eph. 5:2

EVENING

Jehovah-nissi: The Lord my banner. Ex. 17:15

If God be for us, who can be against us? Rom. 8:31

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee. Psa. 60:4

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. Psa. 27:1, 3

Behold, God himself is with us for our captain. II Chron. 13:12

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psa. 46:7

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them. Rev. 17:14

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Psa. 2:1, 4

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. Isa. 8:10

This ... is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. I John 1:5

God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. II Cor. 4:6

The Word was God. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:1, 4

MORNING

Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan. Gen. 13:10, 11

Just Lot ... that righteous man. II Pet. 2:7, 8

Be not ye ... partakers with them. For ye were sometime darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Eph. 5:7, 8, 10, 11

The work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isa. 32:17

Stand ... having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph. 6:14, 12, 13

The Lord is with thee.... Go in this thy might. Jud. 6:12, 14

The promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Rom. 4:13

March 26

MORNING

The kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods ... to every man according to his several ability. Matt. 2:14, 15

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey? Rom. 6:16

All these worketh that one and the self-same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. I Cor. 12:11, 7

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. I Pet. 4:10

It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. I Cor. 4:2

Unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48

Who is sufficient for these things? II Cor. 2:16

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil. 4:13

EVENING

Distributing to the necessity of saints. Rom. 12:13

David said, Is there yet any that is left ... of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? II Sam. 9:1

Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matt. 25:34-36, 40

Whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matt. 10:42

To do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Heb. 13:16

March 27

MORNING

To him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. Prov. 11:18

After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matt. 25:19-21

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. II Cor. 5:10

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. II Tim. 4:7, 8

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Rev. 3:11

EVENING

God is faithful. I Cor. 10:13

God is not a man that he should lie; neither the Son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Num. 23:19

The Lord sware and will not repent. Heb. 7:21

God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. Heb. 6:17, 18

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. I Pet. 4:19

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. II Tim. 1:12

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. I Thess. 5:24

All the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. II Cor. 1:20

MORNING

Be strong and of a good courage. Josh. 1:18

The LORD is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life: of whom shall I be afraid? Psa. 27:1

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isa. 40:29-31

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. Psa. 73:26

If God be for us, who can be against us? Rom. 8:31

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Psa. 118:6

Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. Psa. 44:5

We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Rom. 8:37

Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee. I Chron. 22:16

EVENING

Our friend sleepeth. John 11:11

I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. I Thess. 4:13, 14

If the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: and if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. I Cor. 15:16-18, 20

It came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones.... and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever. Josh. 4:1, 3, 7

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Acts 2:32

Witnesses chosen before of God.... who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. Psa. 39:6

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Col. 3:2

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matt. 6:19-21
