Who is going to ante that up for a non winning, non clutch player like Arod?

I say S.F. because they need another egomaniac who will break the hr record now that Bonds won't be back. They don't seem to care about 1 player eating up half of their payroll.

Arod won't have to worry about October failures there, because there won't be any playoff expectations. LOL

I see him getting $160M over 5 years in LA.

It's gotta be a big market, and now that Joe's out there, it makes sense.

Factor in local $$$$'s from endorsements and A-Rod won't have to worry about
sleeping on lumpy matresses at the shelter.

I am not sure Torre and Arod are that close. Plus Torre saw firsthand how Arod melts under bigtime pressure.

“Since Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS ?the night Boston began its epic comeback from three games down against the Yankees ?Alex Rodriguez has come to the plate with 38 runners on base, over the span of 59 at-bats. He left every single one on base, going 0-for-27, right through the Yanks?Division Series loss to Cleveland this month.?/FONT>

That says it all. I believe 8-59 total since the aforementioned game 4 of 2004.

Maybe he should go to the Cubs - He wouldn't have that problem because
they take every October off.

No October expectations in Wrigleyville. Arod keeps saying he wants to go somewhere and win. ROFL. BULLSHIT!!! It's all about the $$$$$$$$

I love how he also now says he wants to go to the Red Sox. He feels he can win multiple rings there. LOL. I think they did just fine without that POS.

I think San Francisco is a perfect place. They just got rid of 1 egotistical, big money hr king, now they can have the next one. Maybe this one will turn out to be a roid head also. lol

If you drop your car keys in Frisco, you better kick them to
Oakland before you pick them up.

Hank really showed Arod he meant business. He made him "settle" for 275 million. ROFLMAO!!!

This ten year signing assures one thing...that Boston will win at least 3 more World Series in the next 10 years.

Not happy having Mr Choketober back in pinstripes.
