To All My Gangsta Friends,
In the next 3 weeks or so, I will be starting treatment for Cirrhosis/Hep C. The treatment involves the drugs interferon & ribavirin. I've also been told that this will take up to 1 year to complete and is no walk in the park. My MD's say there'll be side effects that will rival chemo treatment, but will require other drugs to control. I'm determined to complete this treatment successfully and have accepted the fact that it ain't gonna be easy.
I plan to continue to be an active vocal member of this site which I've come to be extremely proud and loyal. I will continue "The Tuna T-10 Challenge" and will keep it up to date.
My posts may become lengthy and ramble on at times but, that's nothing new
I'm sharing this because I have formed some excellent relationships here (now I know how WW felt).. trying not to sound al wishy washy.
Thank you all and to our future success.

Tuna, best of luck in your treatment.  It sounds like you are in the right frame of mind for this battle ahead which is good to hear.  Looking forward to reading your ramblings.

Hey All,
Just to let you know that things are going great & I've responded to therapy much quicker than anticipated. The main thing is no more beer, oh well. Days are worth way more than pints. Thanks for all your support and wishes

Ed,

Glad to hear you are progressing better than expected. If giving up beer gives you many more days, then giving it up is the best thing.

Take care and keep listening to the doctors.
