My wife, Kathy (Kat), goes in for surgery Friday.  She is having L4 and L5 fused on her spinal column.  The doctors expect her to be on her feet later in the day, and hopefully home by Sunday.

We are back home, and the surgery was a complete success.  Kat is in some pain, but that's what meds are for.  She's getting around the house slowly, and can't sit or lay down for very long.  I think we're on the road to recovery
