Wow - What a shocker...In spite of some favorable calls in the first quarter,
Bears took care of the Colts "Tampon 2" defence, knocked a few quys out of the game, and ran a pretty tight game.  Everyone heard Cris Collinsworths' explanation at halftime - so that excuse bus as already left town.

I guess the lack of piped in music really put the Colts at a disadvantage.

The Colts were rusty , they looked awful and I wouldnt be surprised to see them drop the game next week vs the Vikes who are a step up from Chicago (though Chicago doesnmt suck nearly as bad as the experts think)  BUT once the rust comes off of Manning,Freeny and Sanders (Bob looked the worst of the 3,really slow last night) they will be fine and once their 3 starting O Lineman (Saturday,Lilja and Pollack) return they will be at the top of the AFC once again.  The Chargers looked bad as well and they are the other top AFC team (With Pittsburgh who everyone has written off prematurely IMO close behind).

Any day which eliminates Tom Brady for the season is a big help for all the other AFC teams no denying that and for it to happen so early changes the whole dynamic of the conference.

I aggree RRR on the whole Brady thing.  But it seems that teams that can overcome/manage their way through the injuries will advance.  In that regard you can say things are kinda wide open.

The Colts will definately be there at the end, they're too good all the way around.

Let's hope for a XLI rematch !!!!

The AFC definitely got alot more interesting with Brady going down. Favre with the Jets, Brady out, this should make for a good season in the AFC East.

Denver looked real good, I started Eddie Royal in my fantasy league and he paid off nicely.  Cutler is one to keep an eye on.

An Indy/Chicago Superbowl rematch would be great, odds are stacked against it but I would love it.
