Green Light Racing is announcing it will join forces with Nextel Cup Series veteran Bobby Hamilton Jr. for a one-race deal at the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 17.

He will pilot the No. 08 Dodge.

Hamilton Jr. has five Truck starts and has made the most of his limited time in the series. He has two top-five finishes and has led in three of his starts for a total of 135 laps. He also has five NASCAR Busch Series wins in his career.
