Do you feel secure in today's economy?

No way.  I hope the market can recover from all this.

No and I have a little money in two CD's that are not supposed to be spent except for emergencies. I am hoping some will be left for Monica to take care of my brother if I go first.

I felt secure until the bailout passed.  Now I am as uncertain about whether I'm going ot have a business tomorrow as I am about how many light years away the furtherest star in our galaxy is.

Now I'm terrified becuase big business no longer has a reason to try and succeed because they know they don't have to be accountable for their actions, the government will bail them out no matter how badly they botch things.

I think the salad days are over for many, many years to come.  Hopefully we won't see a depression on the scale of the Great One - but I think its going to be very, very close and hard times are ahead for all of us -- more so than we've ever dreamed possible in our lifetime.

I hope I'm wrong.
