They give them free at work every year.  I've gotten them a couple of other
times, but didn't get one the last 2 years.  Was NOT planning to get one today
either.  Since the sicky 2 cubes over has been coughing, AND my security
guy said "it didn't hurt at all.  Just get the older lady", I decided to do it on
a whim.  I'm very scared of shots, but it really didn't hurt.  That, and I figure
I'm due to get the crud, so I just did it.  I'm really proud of myself.  They
gave me a cute bandaid too.

They should have given you an HD bandaid for being such a tough biker chick!

I have never had one.  Back when they first came out people seemed to get so sick from taking them that my parents always talked them down.  They have always been afraid to take them and I guess they passed that fear on to me.

I'm glad you got a cute bandaid Christina! lol  However, I had a cute nurse give me the shot, and that's much better!

I know it probably sounds silly to post this, but I couldn't believe I actually
chose to go in and "git 'er done".  I'm not sure what kind of bandaid is on
my upper arm, until I take it off.

LOL Tom, I'm sure that cute nurse made it easier for you.  That was the
least of my concerns.  There were 2 nurses....one younger and cute and
the older one already came recommended, so I sat in her chiar.

I could have gotten one today while I was at the doctor, but I didn't and they didn't offer either. LOL

I kept seeing people coming in to get them.
I am more prone to Bronchitis than the flu.

I have to get one because of working in the hospital.  They give them free to all of us and IF we do not want to take it we have to have a really good excuse and this year they were really adamant that we ALL get one.
I have only gotten sick one time after getting one.  They always say that if you get sick afterwards that you already must have had it in your system.
