Cher, I checked out your new place @ Aimoo.  I will join, but I'm not
ready just yet.

We won't really be using it til this place is gone.
I haven't even made the pages yet, cause I am waiting for Aimoo to send this place there. I know it is going to all be on the bottom section
of the new place. I think I am just going to call it the Archives.
I might just move the tag section.

D made a roast from hell

David puts peppers into the meat before he cooks it. Yummy.
Another good thing is putting a package of au jus powder in the water. The juice is so good you want to drink it. LOL

Pic Of D!!!!!!!

LOL, yeah he wishes (me too) that he had abs like that.

I like au jus, but I've never put it in a roast.  I add au jus to my sauteed mushrooms
though.  We added onion soup mix and 2 beef bouillions.  Honestly, it was one of
the best roasts I've eaten.  I was actually able to talk him out of adding celery,
carrots, potatoes, etc.  My mom didn't make roast that way, so I never have either.
Then I get with D and he likes all that stuff in his roast, but I'd rather have all that
on the side, not cooked with the meat.  I think it's all in what you are used to and
he's used to that, but I'm not.

That's funny my D and Your D like the same things.
My mother always cooked the roast separate and made mashed potatoes or rice and her own gravy.
I guess what they like is a pot roast....everything in the pot.

11 years ago I made a roast for David with the Lipton oninon soup.
He hated it. I had always done that too. I have not done it since. LOL

That was the first time we ever put the dry onion soup mix in the
roast.  I always use it in my chili, though.  (we love onion)
