Jakob Harry Glabas

GASTON �?Funeral services for Jakob Harry Glabas will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Southland Chapel, West Columbia, SC, Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17, 2008, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Tony Garrett will officiate.

Mr. Glabas, 57, born April 17, 1951, was the son of Peter Raymond Glabas and Lisa Klier Glabas. He worked as a cable installer in the telecommunications industry for many years. He enjoyed riding motorycycles, fishing and computer games. He loved his family very much.

Mr. Glabas is survived by his mother, Lisa Maria Glabas of Martinez, GA; his daughters, Monica Denise Glabas of Waynesboro, GA; Cara Glabas of Gaston, SC; Crystal G. Chavez of Gaston, SC; Laurale Glabas of Gaston, SC; his brothers, Roy Glabas of Augusta, GA; Thomas Glabas of Augusta, GA; Peter Glabas Jr. of Augusta, GA; Michael Glabas of Pelion, SC; his grandchildren, Brooke, Christopher Jr., Alexis, Craighton, Natalya, Bianca, Jakob, and Kailya; godmothers, Margie Glabas, and Aunt Dorothy Glabas. He is predeceased by his father, Peter R. Glabas, his son, Jakob Glabas Jr. and his grandson, Darren Nicholas. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home at Southland is in charge of the arrangements.
