Aloha Dump Cake

1-1/4 lbs. canned crushed pineapple, undrained

1/2 lb. flaked coconut

1 package yellow cake mix

1 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour pineapple and juice into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Evenly distribute coconut over pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix over top and spread evenly. Cover surface with butter. Do not mix. Bake 45 minutes until top is browned. Cool before cutting into squares.

This recipe serves 12 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 12 only.
