Carlene was the daughter of Carl and June Carter, not Carl and Goldie.

This is a good post.  I wonder if any of their three children sing?  Seems like a lot of "artists kids" are coming out to perform these days.................. Georgette Jones,  Hawkshaw Hawkins Jr.,  Trey Young, etc............... It'd be great if Carl and Goldie's kids sang as well.

 

I sure wish I knew someone who knew.  I could ask Ferlin or Rose Lee if they know anything about them, but honestly, I doubt that they do.  Ferlin lives here in Missouri and Rose Lee is basically retired from the business like Carl is..................

i read an an interview of arleens done march of this year. in the interview she does not mention larry, carl jr, or lorie except spending time with them when she was growing up and missing goldie. she also talks of her drug additiction and the death of her sister junes daughter from a drug over dose. it sounds like johnny wan't a good influence on those kids in the earlier years, however this was no excuse for their actions.
