I wasn't sure when I saw the post either, but it is on the msn groups webpage. That is why when I made the post here, I made sure to include the link.
There are other posts you can read on the message boards there concerning the move and Information on the Multiply.com service. Information on this board may help in understanding how the move will happen.
Yes it is a move. But the groups as we know them are scheduled to go away. If it were a hoax, MSN would have removed the posts and would not show it on their "what's new" page.
