Hi Bob,
Just thought I'd mention I own a web site with a great forum board and many
other amenities located at http://glendive-mt.net/GlendiveForum/index.php
for your viewing. This particular forum uses the latest version of SMF and
is server sided. So far in the past year and a half I have had no hacks and
have been successful at keeping all spams and trash off the site. I host
about 75 members from all across the U.S.

The point to this is, these days it only costs less than $8 a month to host
a site and thus allowing you total control of it. My total startup cost for
this site was about $200 for 24 months of hosting.

If this is something you may consider, I'd sure be willing to help with what
I can to keep the group together.

On another note, we had another great jam session last night here in Kansas
City. Out monthly group, HABOT (Heartland of America Bluegrass & Old Time
Country), meets just a few blocks away from my house. Anywhere from 300 to
600 folks will show up to listen to grass bands in the auditorium or like
the rest of us, break off into little groups throughout the building and do
our own pick'n for about 5 hours. HABOT gets together every third Friday of
the month so if anyone happens to be in the area don't forget your guitar.
