Can you believe it?  Only 1 week before the inauguration and new hope!    I think you asked once Lori...I believe that the actual ceremony takes place at noon (12:00pm) EST (11:00am CST, 10:00am MST, and 9am PST).

If you would like to get any more info...here's an official link

I was looking more into that site...and I think some of the 'ceremonial' procedures will be starting 1/2 hour before the 'noon' ceremony...so if you want to catch the entire thing...I would check in at 11:30am EST....

How fitting that this country will observe Dr Martin Luther King Jr Day on Monday and the next day President Obama will take office!

5 more days!! I am so excited. But worried too. So much is expected of him and he is walking into such a mess.... we will have to be patient and do our part too.
Did you hear Barack is giving a party the night before the inauguration honoring John McCain??
Talk about a class act! I am really hopeful that we will see a new type of governing now.
I have Tuesday off. They were going to give me Monday and I asked if I could have tuesday this once! And they said yes!! I will be glued to the festivities!!

I am excited too.  But there is no way this country will turn around quickly the task is too great.  But I am hopeful.  Our country is in a horrible mess right now and guess who we have to thank for that.  Oh dear I can't even type that morons name.

A lot riding on this man's shoulders.  Hopefully the rest of the world will listen to him.

President Obama is a very intelligent man.  It will be a refreshing change after 8 years of the Village Idiot.  For you all looking for something to do may I suggest Barack's books...especially "The Audacity of Hope".  VERY good!!
