Sorry about the confusion--see what happens to me after almost 7 days straight at work.  Also I meant to say it rained all day.  The storms were unbelievable and yet I was still outside.  Well I worked yesterday at my old job and it just wasn't the same.  I found out we did 19,000.00 worth of valentines sales so I could pretty much get away with anything.  I have today off and am planning on doing nothing.  My dvr is set because todays is the Ace of Cakes marathon so I will be chillin on the couch.  Have a great day everyone and once again sorry about the mix-up. Carla

LOL Carla.  No problem about the confusion.  I've been known to think it's a different day and when I worked I would fly out of bed thinking I've overslept and will be late for work.  Only to discover that it was the weekend.  Was always wondering if I would actually drive to work to discover it was the weekend. LOL.  That would be me.  Ever drive to work and notice that the traffic is extremely light, enough to make you wonder if it was a weekend and no one was up that early.

Good morning to everyone.  Beautiful sunny day again.  I am starting to notice the tree buds are starting to be noticable.  When I look out my window and look at the trees I can see "color".  No leaves just the buds swelling and taking shape.  It will be a while but I love watching this every year. Love to watch for signs of spring.  Even my bulbs have broken thru the dirt.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning/afternoon Everybody!

Carla...don't feel bad about yesterday...as I recall...I made a Saturday into a Sunday one time...which isn't so bad for me...but for anybody that works M-Fri...each day off is 'precious'...oh...and I have to put my mouse pointer over the time on the task bar several times a day to make sure I know what day it is   Oh...and love your good morning kittehs

Well...okay...I'll admit something...I'm a NASCAR fan...there...I said it.  I was really involved in the racing scene in the late 70s...pit passes...personally knew some of the officials and flagmen...and yada yada yada...Anyway...one of the biggest races of the year...the Daytona 500 ran yesterday...talk about a rip-off.  They have changed the rules...so that if it rains and the race has gone more than half-way...whoever is in the lead when the race is stopped wins.  There were 48 laps left to yesterday's race...and they declared that rule.  All that I can say...is if I had spent the money on tickets to go to the race (up to $300 per person) and almost 1/4 of the race had been eliminated...I would be up in arms.  As is...I was watching for free...and I wasn't happy.  Can you imagine the losses that betting bookies may have taken???  Just another 'angle' I was thinking about...and no...I don't believe in making bets...

Okeydokey...I'm off my soapbox now.  It's snowing here...yippee...hehehehe funny how I've changed from hoping to see the beauty of a pristine white snow to OMG...again?  So...back to my blankie I go...heheheheh

I wish enough for all of you!

Good afternoon all!! Jeez Carla, I do that all the time!! lol! Glad to know I am not alone!
It has been on heck of a weekend here. Jeff has had the flu and been pretty sick. Randa and I have been taking turns sleeping and rocking him, or changing him as the case may be! His fever broke last night and he seems to be on the mend today. He is keeping fluids down and even had toast this morning.
Now i am going to get some sleep and I will check in later.
Have a great day!!

Sorry to hear Jeffy is sick.  I'm surprised he didn't get the flu shot, or maybe he did and this strain just slipped thru the cracks.  Hope you and Randa don't get it.  Hope you all stay well and he gets better.
