What do you make for "comfort food" when it is cold out?

Did you steal this question from my comment today about "cozy" food for dinner?

Ok sometimes it's oven fried chicken and dumplings (I am the only one that eats dumplings).  Pot roast with carrots, celery, taters and rice.  Sometime sauerbrauten with red cabbage and spaetzle and sometime even mashed taters as well.

Pot roast, chili, veggie soup...any type of casserole or soup.  Tonight we're having potato soup--Grandma Bell's favorite comfort food!

Let's see...homemade soups and breads, Mom's goulash, it mostly depends on 'how cold' and my mood...hehehehe
