Do you have a special memory of Valentine's day?  Yes..I have quite a few.  One in particular...my Mom used to put little 'I love you' notes in my lunches when I was young...but that was a daily event...she didn't need a holiday for her to say it...
 
What does it mean for you?  Another holiday that has been blown out of proportion...I prefer the small celebrations rather than big expectations.

No I can't say it holds any special memories for me.
 
Yes I think it has been blown way out of proportion.  There is no way we ever go out to dinner on this day.  They jack up the prices just like on any of the other holidays.  Stuff like that just gets under my skin.  Also why do roses suddenly go for close to $100 a dozen on this day.  When in a few days it will be 1/4 or less the price.
