2 1/2 cup flour                             1/2 cupmilk<o:p></o:p>

1 Tbsp. sugar                            1 tsp. cinnamon<o:p></o:p>

1 tsp. salt                                  2/3 cup crushed corn flakes<o:p></o:p>

1 c. lard or shortening               5 cups sliced apples<o:p></o:p>

1 Egg separated<o:p></o:p>

Sift together flour, sugar &  salt. Cut into lard or shortening.<o:p></o:p>

Put egg yolk into measuring cup and add milk to make<o:p></o:p>

1/2 cup liquid, add to flour- lard mixture (like pie crust ). Roll<o:p></o:p>

Out half to fit 11x15 inch jelly roll pan. After placing on pan, cover with corn flake crumbs, then with apples. Mix sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. Roll other half of dough for top crust. Place over apples, pinch edges together. Beat egg white until stiff, spread over top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. While hot, drizzle glaze over top.<o:p></o:p>

1c. confectioners sugar                     2 Tbsp. lemon juice.<o:p></o:p>
