| Hello Everyone, Ruby ~ so glad Ewan is finally home & feeling better. Hope he doesn't try to do too much too fast. Hopefully you will start to feel better with less stress now that he is home where he belongs. Joan ~ how did you do with your jigsaw puzzles? My younger sis loves them but I never had the patience. I, too, would love to have a big family ~ you're right about it getting lonely. Hope you are doing ok. Barb ~ you & Lynn seem to stay so busy! I'm glad you are able to, tho. I haven't recovered from cleaning the curtains & windows on one of the kitchen alcoves, much less get the other one done. Jenny ~ what is "bonfire night"? How are you doing? Jess ~ it always takes me forever to get used to the time change, too. Why can't we just stick to one or the other? I know they claim it saves energy but I wonder about that one!! Hope you are getting on ok. Jessie ~ like you, I think it would be nice to have on-line shopping for food with delivery. I think a couple of stores here will let you order & have it delivered but as you said, it is very costly. How are things in your world? Well.....our Election........I hope that everyone will pray for the USA because we need them. Quite honestly ~ I wasn't happy with either choice & I fear for the future of my country. Just "my" thoughts & feelings on the subject. It continues to be sunny & not toooo chilly here, in fact today it's supposed to get up to almost 80. The leaves have pretty much changed colors & are already falling quickly so I know winter is trying to sneak up on us. And as I keep saying, I DREAD it !! I've had another migraine this week & am beginning to worry abit. I woke up this morning to the second bloody nose in a week. I'm hoping I just need to get out my humidifier for when the heat is on & the air is way too dry. Funny how I need to take out humidity in the summer & add it in the winter. Sounds crazy, I'm sure, to some !! I'm waiting on my oxygen delivery man. (I laugh & tell him that sometimes he is my only company for days ~ he 'is' a very nice young man). Then I must get out to the pharmacy for meds & the grocery for a few things. Hello to all to follow & prayers for all in need. | Hello everyone. I hope you had a good nights rest and feel better today. It's dull and clammy here. Nurse phoned me this morning she coming to review me and give me 'flu jab.  I'm late this morning - it's very damp again here but I have actually been out to the library but thank goodness I had oxygen in the car as I sure did need it.!! Pleased to see Ewan is much better now (fingers crossed) and hope that after your Nurse has been and reviewed you and given you your jab, that you are o.k. too Lots of love to all..Joan XX |

Good morning all. The election is over but still all you hear on TV is how we have our First Colored President it seems it's all about the color of his skin more than what's actually going to get done. It's looking rainy out today, don't know if it's going to or not, sun shines then clouds come over, I guess it will make up it's mind soon. I know its not easy to breath for me today. Plus another sinuse headache. Know what you mean about the bloody nose Cilla, I never have them yet this week I've had a couple too. Take care and don't do anything I wouldn't do. LOL Jessie |

Morning all , Not a cheery one here Lynn and I had words last night over recroom .. it's not going fast enough for him .. the fella who was suppose to be coming in to help with the bathroom is now hunting for the next few weeks .. great  .. so now what .. we certainly cannot afford to pay a contractor to do the work.. we were paying this fella but it was under the table .. youknow LOL so do we wait .. it must get done.. we are shopping this weekend for the components cabinet , toilet , shower etc.. I don't know .. Lynn gets very moody drives me nuts.. anyway it's Friday .. thats all I know and I hope the day goes fast .. I'm not much into Politics .. and really I dont know anything about the new fella in America.. I have to say I agree with Jessie .. they are focusing far too much on his color and background ... get over it .. but obviously he was voted in by many so .. I guess we wait and see.. I hope you all have a great day hugs to you all and Prayers to those who need them .. |

| Good Morning, Barb I know how you feel about getting things done. It took ages for us to get our extension finished, Part time and so frustrating. Hope you get things done soon.. Jessie I feel the same, thats all you hear now on the news and it is colour more than anything just now. Meg, Vera, Charlie, Caz and others I hope you are feeling bit better now.  Hello folks - the sun has decided to come out for a while. Just waiting for my Sainsburys shopping on-line to deliver. Had my hair trimmed this morning by Sue my mobile hairdresser. What a blessing she is. See how I am after helping John put the shopping away then we may go out for a while in the car. re the American election results - well I don't like change anyway!! Joan I wish I had your mobile hair dresser. Mine needs a cutting so bad and I hate going to the parlor, it's always so full of the perm. smells or hair spray and bothers my breathing. I tend to put it off so long I get charged more too. It ends up being a "hair cut" instead of a "trim" and costs more. Hope everyone has a good week end. Jessie |

| Hello All Not up to writing much today ~ up & dressed & reading the posts while waiting on return calls from doctors....then I'm going to lie down. I sincerely hope that everyone is feeling better than I am today!! As for our election ~ I don't care what color our President is but I didn't like either of our choices. Time will tell but I worry about the future of our country for many reasons. That's as much as I'm willing to discuss about Politics!! I hope everyone has a nice weekend. Prayers for all in need!!  I would like to invite you all for a nice cuppa coffee - wouldn't that be nice!! It's been a busy morning here (for us!!) John has had a phone call from his friend in New Zealand, an old doggy-walking pal just called at the house and my local friend, Sue phoned and James has been on the I.M. So here I am, ready, willing and unable!! What are you all doing this weekend?? Hull City are playing at home so I'll not see Tim today!! Priorities you know!! | Hello Everyone.......hope you all had a good night. Weather cool and damp here in my part of uk which is a shame cause i'm watching the Lord Mayor's Parade on telly from London. Ruby it will be 1 year on 21st of next month that i stopped smoking and yes i do feel better for it thank you for asking.Its been a stuggle though at times. | Good Morning, Jenny, can hardly believe it' be a year since you stopped smoking. Thats great you stuck it out, as I know it would be hard at times. It was for me too, but I did it as well. Joan you and John had a busy time this morning but be nice surprise to see friends again. I'm not doing much today, back still sore, but had a great sleep with my new mattress and pillow. Ewan been to get a few things from morrisons, got washing done and now he's making soup. See trying to get him to stop, it's like banging your head against a brick wall. Oh well as long as it keeps him happy and he's ok. He'll be done out in a wee while lol. Hve a great wek end whatever you do and breatheasy.  It's my pal, Bertie Bassett - what a "waggy" tail he has!! Today started fine but is going "off" now and looking very grey.  Hi Joan, I see your having bother getting in Yuku group. I'll see if Barb can help, I thought if you register then sign in with your nic and password it should be ok. What did other do to join?. We even got a great fun chat room there. It's a wild bitter cold day here. Be cold at the Cenetaph for the Remembrance Day.. I won't be doing much today, On here for a while then rest in between. I have the other groups to see to now as well, but it will be the Yuku one be sticking with. Hope you can all have a good day. Take care and stay warm.
