Jess - have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day - that turkey sounds delicious!!  Can I come please??     Well John's washing is blowing well on the line this morning and it looks cool out there so I think I'll stay in for a change!!!!!!!  The Oxygen man is calling to extend the link to the front room as I can only use it either in the back room or the front room - the link is not long enough!!   Then later on I have the COPD Nurse calling (all good fun!)    I am going to try and get myself up from Monday next - see  what happens!!  Hope I'm a bit more able on Monday than I am today.  Lots of love to all and keep "batting".   Love..Joan XX

 

Good  Morning  everyone ..  Yipee  Friday is    here  ..  but   I have to   work ..   thats ok  hopefully the day will   fly  bye..  and it's a long  weekend  but a busy one ..   the  recroom  will  get   flooring  or painted one or the other   tomorrow.. than   dinner on  Sunday  and I'm  sure  Lynn will  still  do  work  down   stairs ..   and  Monday   I hope  we  rest a  bit  maybe  go for a drive,  see the  fall  colors .. take some  pics ..

I   got those 2   school  kids    .. they  start next  week ..  won't  generate alot  of income  but  better than none .. things will sort out  soon I'm  sure.

  Good Morning all to come. It's sunny here but cold. I'm feeling ok this morning, so going to my G/Grandsons Birthday party. Hope our Canadian members  have a lovely Thanksgiving day and Dinner. Ill look in again when I get back. If I'm fit lol. All the 3 year olds running about. He's all excited and hyper already, his gran said. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my family again.  Thinking of all you Canadians and the smell of that turkey cooking!!  Yummy yum!!     Cilla - I got John to make me a reel of sorts for the oxygen tubes and I can walk it about with me and roll it up or let it loose as the case may be.  We just got all that sorted when the COPD nurse said to try and reduce my ozygen intake to 16 hours instead of 24 hours.  This is my first try at the 16 hours and we'll see how it goes!!   Hope you all have a nice weekend..Lots of love..Joan XX

 

 Nice day here in Yorkshire - may sit out a while.  I'm trying to knock the oxygen down to 16 hrs. at the moment so feel a bit confused.  My confidence is at a low ebb so hope I can find it again soon !!!  I sleep so well but wake up and can barely move let alone wash myself.  Anyone else like this??  I said I would try and get myself up tomorrow for a week to see how it goes.  (fingers crossed for me folks).  John has just finished another pile of ironing - gosh it does make you feel so helpless doesn't it??   Hope you Partygoers had a lovely celebration and saved me some turkey!!  Love to all..Joan XX

   Good Morning Joan. Hope you got sitting out a while. It's sunny here but very cold. My carer was late this morning Joan and I washed some of me myself but was nakered and had to go back on oxy till she came. I feel so still and hard to get up in the morning till the painkillers start to work. We were both nakered last night after the party and ewan slept in and I fell asleep again till 9:30. Will feel better soon. Was so glad we got to the party and it was good to see all the kids and some of my relations i don't see too often.

 

 

 

Good morning all.. Happy  Thanksgiving  well its   today for   us..  but  really its  tomorrow .. I  have  alot  to  prepare ..  but  I'm  already  started ..  the scalloped potatoes  are  in oven .. the  cranberries  are  prepared  (  Yes  berries  with  roast beef ) LOL I will  eat them with anything and the  sweet potatoes are   ready to  cook  later as  well

The  roast will  go in  later  today ..

Lynn is  downstairs getting  ready to   painting ..

I   hope   we  can  get out for a walk  later  on  to see the colors ..

Not  much  else to   say  at the moment ,so  will  catch you all later ..  enjoy  this wonderful  day

 Brought my lovely twitchy-nosed bunny back again.  Hope the weather brightens up again later on.  Lovely day here yesterday, very warm.  I've been told to sit with my feet up  very high as they are still very swollen and have been for 2 months now.  I spend so much time messing about on the computer that I forget and I can't get my feet up whilst I'm on here!!    Hope all are as well as can be..Love..Joan XX
