Good Morning Joan, sorry you never got to Waitrose this morning. LOL Yes got a laugh too at the image of me skimming about the house. I'm getting on a lot better with the smaller one as I've shrunk a good bit, according to my height when I got the bone scan done. Hope you all have a nice day and Prayers for all not feeling so good. It's dull and cool here today so just having a day between pc and resting.

OK you two ~ so I was having a "Senior Moment" ~ I knew skimmer didn't sound quite right but it still gave me the mental image of you darting about quite fast!!  I "won't" forget, Joan ~ will get you back when you least expect it !!! Ah~hahahaha!  Sorry you weren't able to get out today, Joan.  It's gotten quite cool here but it was sunny out & I got out for the second day in a row.  Doing errands but also to MAKE myself walk for excersize as much as possible.  I did get my new glasses & what a difference ~ I got the wide view transition lenses (bi-focals, of course) & what an improvement!!  Perhaps they will help with my headaches!?!  Have you spoken with your doctor about your oxygen problems like a good lil' girl???
Ruby ~ how are you doing?  Don't shrink too much.  I picture you as not being very big to begin with.  I have abit of that problem too & take calcium & Vitamin D for absorbtion daily but the docs caught it early so I'm hoping I'm not getting worse too quickly.  I'm not very big to begin with ~ I take after my Mom (my Daddy was 6'3" & my sisters took after him more in body structure)
Well, Scott & Dee just dropped Makayla & Madison off for the evening while they go looking for a new Van.  I guess the transmission quit today & since the A/C is not working either they decided it was time to look around for another.  Scott has his lovely truck that seats 4, his motorcycle & of course they have the 2 big buses for Dee's work.  Anyway, I think I will go spend some quality time with the girls & I'm hoping to get to their Soccer games tomorrow if I'm not totally worn out!!
Prayers for all in need!
Hugs,
Cilla
(still chuckling over the "skimmer")

Hey,
Hope everyone is doing ok. It is after getting very cold here today. The winter weather is starting. Asthma has decided to flare up the last few hours. Don't know if its from the cold weather or something else. I think that explains my tiredness the last few days. It feels as if there is something sitting on me. Haven't had that in a while. Along with the usual coughing, wheezing etc etc. Will increase the inhalers and see how I go. If not I will take a trip to the doctor. Hope this isn't the start of it for the winter.
Grace

Hello all - bright day here - hope to get out in the garden for a walk.    My doctor has no idea about the oxygen situation Cilla - the instructions are coming from the hospital.  They want me to try and cut the hours of need down to 16 per day.  I have a good oxygen reading (oxometer - averaging 94 ish).  But because I've been in hospital, they put everybody on it (with chest problems anyway).  I wasn't on much before entry into hospital - just what is called "Short Burst Oxygen Therapy" which is just for when you are extra breathless, in short doses of about 30 mins. (only having 2 hours a day in total).  I'm managing, so far, and have cut it down to 16 hours, but I'm still very breathless anyway.       Thanks for taking "skimmer" with such good humour - it was quite funny though wasn't it!!  My son and grandson may call today and a friend I haven't heard from for a while!!  Hope I can keep talking!!  Lots of love and take care..Joan XX

I'm late on here again I'm afraid.  Not feeling so good today - think I might be getting a cold - where from I don't know as I haven't been anywhere to pick one up.  Anyway I'm streaming and, coughing so will have to "watch it".  Not such a bad day here but coolish.  My friend from next door was going to come in today but in view of the fact that I might be getting a cold, I've had to ask her not to come and as she's a Schoolteacher, perhaps it's wiser too.  Hope everybody else is o.k.  Lots of love for now..Joan XX

I've been trying out the yuku group, but can't get it right yet,I don't think. Anyway hope you all had a better day. Joan so sorry to see you are with a streaming cold. Hope you feel better soon and it don't go to your chest. Hugs to all,

Hi Everyone!!  It's another chilly but sunshiny day here.  I think my pilot light is out on my furnace & since I can't get the heat to come on so I'm sitting here in sweats & fuzzy slippers.  I stayed in bed til mid morning ~ being out & about 3 days in a row was abit much but I knew I was going to be very tired.  I had to get up @ 6:30am yesterday to have time to get to my G-Daughters' Soccer Games.  It wasn't far away ~ it just takes sooooo long to get ready to go anywhere, especially in the morning when I'm groggy from my nightly heart pills.  Ah well ~ it was worth it to go & have them know (& remember) that "Nana" went to their functions whenever I could, which is very important to me.  I have such special memories of MY Nanny & want them to remember me like that.  Actually, I don't feel too awfully bad ~ mostly just really tired with seasonal alergy runny nose, eyes & sneezing.
Grace, I hope you are feeling better today & your inhalers help enough that you don't need to see the doctors.
Joan ~ don't you think you should let your doctor know about your oxygen problems?  Don't mean to sound like a 'mother hen' but it seems like he should know.  Hope you get that cold under control before it developes & wants to hang out with you!!  How disappointing to have to cancel your visit with your friend.  Hope you feel better soon!
Jenny ~ great to know that your "MIA" status is due to company rather than illness.  I'm glad your friend is 'sorted out' now ~ thanks to your wonderful friendship & help, I'm sure.
Caz & Meg ~ hope you are both doing better & that you will have your puter back soon, Jess.
Ruby ~ you ARE just a wee person, aren't you!!?!
I'm glad the new "zimmer" is making a difference in your pain ~ makes sense if you were having to bend over to use the larger one.  Hope you are feeling decent.
Hello to Jessie & anyone I may have missed.
Prayers for all in need!!
Hugs,
Cilla

Photobucket Good Morning all to come. Cilla so glad you got to your G/Daughters soccer match. It is good to let them see we get when we can, and hope they take the example when they are mums and G/Mums. Thanks for the great write and remembering everyone. I was to get my 'flu jab this morning but took the runs, so she's waiting till Thursday now!!. Ewan got his. Silly me I get all worked up at the thought of it.
It's been a wild night here with heavy rain and gales. Hope you all have a good day. Breatheasy.

I think my Doctor's surgery must have forgotten about my 'flu jab.  They said they would come to my home to give it to me, but I'm still waiting!!  The injection doesn't trouble me at all - I had plenty of those in Hospital!!  My cold seems to have dried up this morning (more like an air pocket in the lung which made me cough and sneeze until I was worn out!!) Hope you all have a good day..Love..Joan XX
