MSN has indicated that group managers will be receiving an email with an outline of the Groups closure timeline and the migration process to multiply. Someone or someones wasted no time in exploiting this and are sending out "phishing" type letters regarding this, trying to get personal details. These letters may appear to be coming from MSN/Microsoft or Multiply.com.
Remember, MSN nor Microsoft will ever ask you for any personal details including your password unless you have written to them about passport problems and they are replying to you.
If you receive a letter purporting to be from MSN/Microsoft OR Multiply that was unsolicited AND asking you to reply with any personal information or open an attachment, do not reply to it or open any attachment, rather find out the originating IP of the sender from the headers and forward it on to the abuse department of that ISP.
