It is a nippy one here this morn but one good thing the snow we got the other day is just about gone!! We only had 2 of our GS to get treats last night,,, our usual!! We are on the outskirts of town so they just don't bother coming this far. No plans for me today, just the usual. Enjoy whatever is on your agenda. Prayers for all in need. Good Evening friends. I got to see Ewan today, He's still not too good and not ate today as still got the severe runs. He was sleeping when we went in but he woke up and was pleased to see us. I wish he would get a bit better as he's getting a bit down now..Hope you all had a nice day relaxing or whatever. Take care. |

Sorry to hear Ewan's not too well Ruby and hope that he feels better and gets home soon. It's an awful day here, raining and pretty miserable in general. Lots of fireworks being let off last night - early Bonfire Night Revellers or late Halloween revellers!! I'm pleased in a way that we don't have a dog to worry about with all the bangs going off.  Good Afternoon all. I don't feel too good today. Told the carer I didn't want my clothes on today, just went back to bed. Felt sick and so tired and can't be bothered with anything. I'm trying to get things done now. My son in law will go see Ewan tonight and my son Alan tomorrow night. Wish he could get a bit better. But he phoned me this morning adn said he hadto get 2 imodium and paracetamol at 1am, then he got a sleep and took some Krispies for breakfast. See how that did with him today. Sounds like he will have lost a bit of weight Ruby!! I hope you can both get settled down again soon. I think I should have stayed in bed too - breathing is very poor - oxygen on all day and night(not supposed to be!!) John is cooking the dinner and it smells good!! Take care all..Love..Joan XX |

| Good Afternoon! So sorry, Ruby, that Ewan is not doing much better but glad to hear you were able to go visit him yesterday. It must be frustrating for both of you to be so far from him. I'm glad you have loving family & friends to help out. Sorry you aren't feeling so great today ~ glad you are resting. Continued prayers for both of you. Nice to see your post, Jenny & hope you are doing OK. Hi Joan, Barb, Jess, Jessie & all to follow. It's been another warm & sunny day. Scott & Family picked me up earlier & we all went out to dinner to celebrate Makayla's 11th BD which was 10/30 but Daddy flies til late on Thursdays so the "Family" party had to wait. We went to a buffet & it was all so good, I ate wayy to much & now feel like my tummy is trying to shove my lungs out my throat (LOL). I know better but it was just alllll so yummy & so nice to be out with them. We all felt like we should be "rolled" out to the car to leave!! I don't think I will be doing much moving around the rest of the day, that's for sure. I did get a few pictures taken & will try to share them with you at a later date Prayers for all in need.  Not quite such a bad day but still damp and dreary. You sound as if you had a good day yesterday Cilla - good for you. It's the Asthma Group Meeting today and would like to go - we'll wait and see. Ruby - hope Ewan is feeling a bit better today - is it the antibiotics that's upsetting his tummy do you think?? Love to all..Joan XX |

Good Morning all .. not sure just what today brings.. its suppose to be my day off.. but one of the mums called and asked if I could care for the morning.So ya I will.. I hope to get out for a haircut, that might cheer me up a bit Ruby hope Ewan is improving but it sounds like you need some TLC as well. You take care , My prayers are said. Well its a dull showery day today but the temps are suppose to climb to like 17 OMGosh and it's November ..bring it on .All I hope is that snow does not come for good while again Off to get a coffee. Enjoy the day doing what ever . hugs

Good Afternoon Barb Jenny Joan and all to come. I'm sitting here about sleeping. I just feel so tired and sick feeling. AND Ewan is getting home today. They gave him two new pills yesterday and they have helped a lot. Cleared up the diahrea and tummy pains. Just hope he's not out too early again..Yes Joan they think it's the antis that caused the diahrea. I'm going to have a rest before he gets home and try feel better, Prayers for all who need them. Good morning all. Hope Ewin and you both are doing better Ruby. G. daughter is still in hospital. They thought maybe she had pancreitis now too but have decided that's not it. They don't know just what all is going on with her but are trying to find out just where her blood lose is coming from. they had thought about doing a colonoscopy but changed their minds on that too. Her doctor is to see her today and maybe decide just what to do. Thank you all for your prayers. It's sunny and warm here today and Charlie's at his mother's. He told me not to start the laundry until he gets back to help with it so he must not be planning on staying with her long today. Take care all and have a good day. Sorry to hear about your granddaughter Jessie and hope the hospital can help her to get better soon. Ruby - pleased you are getting Ewan home at last today and hope that he is feeling much better now. I had my first outing today - I got to the Asthma Group Meeting and it was nice to see a few familiar faces again. It was just a talk about Hull and it's parks etc. but enjoyed the change of scene. I went with the wheelchair and the oxygen for the first time - anyway I made it. Lots of love..Joan XX |

 It's really raining here and very grey. I'm staying put today for a change!! Hope all are well. I've found a disc containing jigsaws so I might try it and see how I get on!! I've never liked doing them but beggars can't be choosers!!. I'll look in again later...Love..Joan XX |
