Hi! Just discovered last week that I had not written anything in here, so here goes.
I have COPD Emphysema , diagnosed in 2002. I am on 4 inhalers and at least 18 hours Oxygen. I manage to get out with help on good days using my wheelchair, especially for long distances. I try to do this as much as I can, as I can feel isolated and lonely so easily. However on saying that, since I got my pc, the isolation got less as I began to make contact in cyberspace with people similar to myself. I often speak to other people worldwide who are unable to venture out much, and some are worse off than myself. I do like to help people when ever I can, always have and as I cannot venture out too much myself, what better way than on pc. I have an 18 year old daughter who has, since the age of 13, been my helper. I love this group and encourage anyone with this horrible illness to become a member. Margaret x x x x
