I have asthma like symptoms and gunky lungs like CF. I'm going to Addenbrookees in Nov 06 So hopefully they will be able to help me. I work in acare home for elderly people, part time. I have 2 loveable cats Coral triple colour and Sammy who is ginger.

 

I have had brething problems for along time and now getting depresed with not getting proper answers from medics just fill like i'm being sweaped under the carpet all the time grrrr. I have found good friends from asthma uk who i speak to most night on msn. Normal people think just coz i look well i'm ok but only if they really know what a constant battle life can be. I used to be a nursery assistand until i started getting really bad infections all the time and my con said i had to chosse weather to keep working and end up in itu or have a broke get strong again and try another job. I was off of 7 months then i got a part time cleaning job at another nursery. Then did a short 10 week contranct getting a local shop up and running while doing the cleaning job. Then when the shop job ended. I started look round for a proper job and avencrely got were i am now.

Now been dignosed with Bronchecitsis (sp?) and Full on Asthma and 2nd home Papworth hospital regular reviews every 2months and at the mo a resident every 4 months  for IV antib's for Psudomons (sp?) a cheap holiday defo breakfast in bed  dinner and tea if u like too hehe
