"Pentecostal" simply means that we believe in the Pentecostal experience which is speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. Further, we believe to be saved we must have obeyed the basic and fundamental gospel message in the Bible in Acts 2:38 that tells us that we need to "repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost". See my tract 'Salvation in a Nutshell'.
I think it is to each his / her own as to what they believe in that way. I don't judge those who say they can or can't, it is between God and the person who can or can't. I don't feel God loves us any more or less, regardless. I opt out on answering this becuase I don't feel I cam to this group to have to answer to this. I believe in prayer, praying to God, and he hears me if I talk in any language, as he is all knowing and powerful God!
No one has to answer. This is a group where Christians can share many interests. We welcome Christians of all ages, denominations, and nationalities. I look solely to the Bible for my answers, and not to man-made denominations.
