Daniel 3:19-27
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most  mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment  was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Well GLORY....  Will God not take care of His people?  Will He not bring them out and deliver them?  YES, HE WILL!  Jesus is the same, same God that He was that day in the fiery furnace. Nebuchadnezzar tried to have the children of God burned in fiery furnace, but God didn't even allow the fire to have any power on their bodies! I think that sometimes his children forget what a great God they serve.  Satan tries to bring his lies and attacks against us, but God is GOD, and if He is for us who can be against us?

It didn't matter that Nebuchadnezzar heated the furnace seven times hotter.  It didn't matter that they were bound and cast in to this fiery furnace.  All that mattered was that they were GOD'S children, and HE was going to bring them out unharmed!  Today Satan may be desiring to sift you as wheat, but God is the greater power.  If we seek GOD and call on Him, He can do for us just what He done for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego!

Don't you wonder how they felt when they looked down in that fiery furnace and saw FOUR walking in the midst of the fire?  MY GOODNESS!!!  Talk about having a time.  They seen the the form of the fourth that was like the Son of God. Not even a hair on their head was singed!  Now imagine the power of the KING of Glory.  If we will have faith in HIM, will He not do greater things than this for us? May we never put LIMITS on what can do for us!

May God bless each and every one of us and show us just what a powerful Heavenly Father that we are serving.  If you are not serving Him today, you have no power over the enemy.  You are taken captive at his will.  But if you will seek God while He may be found, you can learn of the God that Nebuchadnezzar learned about that day.  May we all be the servants of the most high God.
