Moulin Rouge-
I love this musical. alot of people don't cause its stupid in the beginning. When the little fairy is dancing around alot of people stop watching but what they don't know is there drinking absence(sp) and there hallusinating. It's a true love story.

I'm not sure where to put this because it can be in any catagory I suppose. But if anything deserves to be in musicals it's got to be A Prairie Home Companion.
I just watched tonight and fell in love with it. Has an all star cast and they can actually SING !!! Hearing them makes you want to sing along with them... Really good despite some reviews, but IMO I LOVED IT!!!! Really brought back old memories for me.. almost made me want to cry. But if you haven't seen it, please do rent it or buy it or see it on a movie channel somewhere..

Hairspray was HYSTERICAL! John Travolta just made it!!! To watch him dance had me rolling. The only thing I didn't like about it was the songs were very long! You'll understand when you see it.

Sweeney Todd
OOPH- I'm not saying this was an awful musical but I watched it late at night. Its very dark and gloomy and gorey.... I had to shut it off cause it was giving me a panic attack.
