First, thanks for your continued prayers. Joanne, do you think that dome would work??If so, where do I get one? Ok, Mom is still in the hospital, she got up last night to go potty & didn't ring for the nurse & fell again, same shoulder!!  SO, shes really hurting today & waiting on more tests. Again she dosn't know why or what happened, but thankfully, the DR said shes not going anyplace until he finds out whats going on & evaluates her meds. I almost said thank God, but I caught myself. She'd have been mad. lol I did talk to her, shes wanting out of there, but Gayla says its because she thinks shes not going to get to see her "babies"!! Haven't been called that in a while! Tracy & I are planning an outing. She desperatly needs her birth certificate, they're going to cancel her insurance if she dosn't get it, we're going to take the subway into D.C. & pick it up. So if you hear that 2 rednecks were found wandering aimlessly lost in D.C., it's us. I have about a million things to do before we leave, so I gotta go. Love, Connie |

Update on the update. They wanted Mom to go to rehab for a couple weeks, get this, because she was admitted for observation, not medical, medicaid won't pay for it! They asked Gayla to pay for it out of pocket, she told them sure, if she had it. DUH! Connie |

How old is your Mom? I really hope that they can get to the bottom of it. Good luck on the birth certificate search. |

Joanne. YOU QUIT worrying! You don't need the stress either. Mom conned her way into getting to go home. since they couldn't get her into rehab, theres a therapist coming everyday to the house to work with her. Me & Darlene are both still totally sure theres something wrong. She'll be just fine & suddenly shes off in left field. Tonight, shes argued with everyone that Riley is playing football,Riley is 14 months old. They told her no, its Kyle, she told them to hush, she knew my boys played, but Riley does too. I will always believe shes already had a pretty good stroke! Ok, I need to answer a few posts & then get my butt in gear. Crystal, Mom is 71. Hugs, Connie |

71 isn't old, any more, in my books. I hope that they get to the root of the problem. Sometimes when older people have an accident, it can cause a 'bout of dementia, that can clear up. It's from a slight concussion. I hope that your mom heals up completely. Worrying is so normal, but make sure that you try not to do too much of that. There is only so much you can do. Take care of yourself. |
