I got the call this morning. I am moving! I go to see the lady tomorrow and then I am in. The only thing that bothers me is that it is on the 10th floor. If something happened I would take forever to get outside. Just putting on my leg takes a while. No matter right now. Sunday I went to the furniture store and bought a new sofa and a beautiful bed. I then went out and bought all new bedding and bathroom stuff. I got all penguins for the bathroom. I now have everything I need and it really is happening. Before it was talk but now its real. This is really lifting my spirts. |

Good for you. Penguins in the bathroom? Never thought of that, and I kind of like that idea. I think I might steal it. They usually have a special generator for at least one of the elevators. You can always notify mgmt that you may need assistance. Where my Mom lived, and my great aunt does now, they are in some system that looks out for people with special needs. I'm excited for you. |

Oh My Goodness Shirley! That is awesome!!! I like lighthouses for the bathroom... well hell probably every room of the house... :o) I'm glad you have something to look forward too! Hugs Dawn |

Shirley this is totally awesome what did you do with your home? And to think if your on the 10th floor there is lots of people that you can get to meet and become friends with.. Congrats Mrs. Shirley! I believe a fresh move will provide a fresh start for you and you will not have to worry about maintenance issues anymore. Being that you are moving to 10th floor, I am thinking this must be an assisted living complex? Once my kids are grown, I hope to move into something along those lines but I want to go south to Florida first.
