Levi Johnston's mother hit with drug charges Arrested: her son was in the spotlight as father of bristol palin's baby. By ZAZ HOLLANDER [email protected] Published: December 19th, 2008 12:38 AM
The mother of Levi Johnston -- the 18-year-old boy who got Gov. Sarah Palin's teenage daughter pregnant -- was arrested Thursday in an undercover drug investigation, according to Alaska's Anchorage Daily News Sherry L. Johnston has been charged six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance. No other details -- including the kind or amount of drugs -- were released because it is an ongoing investigation, police said. Sherry was served the warrant around noon at her home in Wasilla, Alaska, at the "conclusion of an undercover narcotics investigation," a police statement read. She was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. Asked how long the investigation had been going on before Sherry's arrest, police told the newspaper "a while." |

The woman who left her child in the car was not running for the second-highest office in the country. All of Palin's associations are up for scrutiny, as Obama's were. Especially if she's considering an ill-advised run for the Presidency in 2012. Palin and Levi's mother are practically in-laws. |

No, I don't think he got a pass. I think we were all pretty disgusted and embarrassed. But.... he didn't kill 100,000 people, so yeah, I'll give him a pass by comparison. |

quick AND nimble.. way to go Jack! . It was the GOP that took us through the Monica thing. They got nowhere with White Water and Flowers, so they continue to this day about Monica. Instead of being the defenders of our country they attacked our president. When Pres. Clinton was ordering cruise missles strikes on Al-Quida compounds in Afganistan for retribution in the USS Cole attack the ranks of the GOP wanted to investigate why we were spending millions doing so and questioned the motive of our strike that it was to detract from Monica. Yes we had a few tiffs during his administration but what didn't the GOP like ... the peace or the prosperity? Or both? Alaska is a different state from any of the union. They recieve welfare or extorsion money or what ever they want to call it from the oil companies which get it from us at the pump. I was at the hot springs the other day and talking with a couple from Alaska they were upset that a barrel of crude was $46. They want it up to $60 as thats what their income was based on. What happened to free enterprise? What happen to letting the market work in Alaska? Sarah is pall'in around with drug dealers. Let her daughter sleep with one .... was it in the govenors sex palace mansion? None of this matters. Caroline Kennedy will be our first woman president in 2016. |

I gave him a pass on the Monica thing. What good is it to be the Prez if you can't enjoy the perks?
It was unprecedented, the hounding Bill Clinton took in each and every year of his presidency. Millions of dollars spent investigating him and what did they get? He lied about showing his dick to Paula Jones, who was used by a team of political opponents, including Ann Coulter, and then tossed out like yesterday's garbage. I'm sure she's back to shopping at Wal Mart in Arkansas, but she has a new nose (thank goodness).
The legacy of the Clinton impeachment was that when we really needed impeachment, when our president was spying on Americans and torturing people, Congress was afraid to go there, afraid that an impeachment would appear politically motivated. But the evidence is out there. Stop just believing what your idols on the news tell you and see for yourself. |

lol Jack @ "perks" I know many of you have teenagers or soon to be teenagers and I bet you wont have much luck picking who they date or not date, thats just life... we learn from bad judgements, this has nothing to do with Palin being a bad mother,or her "pall'in" around with shady characters. we all know that Obama was directly connected to "not so warm and fuzzy" idiots like Ayers,Wright,Rezko and on and on ,but that didnt bother you hypocrisy? |

Carrie, Wasn't ignoring your Clinton question, I have just been up to my shoulders in snow, ice, cookie dough and wrapping paper! I'm finally ready I think. Clinton. I voted for him twice. Politically, he was fine. Personally? The guy's a dirtbag. But, as Bill Maher said, cheating on your wife doesn't make you a bad president. You know one president who didn't cheat on his wife? G.W. Bush. He will likely go down at the top of the list of worst presidents, but hey, at least he didn't cheat on his wife! My bitch with Clinton is that he didn't just own up to it right away. The mother of Palin's unborn grandchild is as loosely associated with her as some of the associations Obama had. "Palling around with drug-dealers" is a stretch, but it's no less believable than some of the crap the GOP tried to make an issue in the campaign. Thankfully, America was smart enough to recognize BS when they saw it. Anyway, each of us view all of this differently. There isn't anything you can say that will change my mind, nor I yours. I'm just looking foward to Bush being gone. |
